Akili brings AI into companies reliably: we train your teams, build your agents and software, and leave you in control.

Founded in Cali, Colombia, in June 2017 as AgroSmart, an agritech venture for the coconut sector of the Colombian Pacific, the company (GoFru SAS) went on to build GoFruver, an e-commerce platform connecting rural producers with the city. Building that platform gave birth to our enterprise software work, and today, as Akili, we focus on applied artificial intelligence.

What we do:

- AI training and adoption: hands-on workshops by area with the tools teams use every day, an adoption plan with priorities and owners, and guides for good use, security and data privacy based on Colombia's Ley 1581 de 2012.

- AI agents and automation: agents for WhatsApp customer service, document processing, internal processes and knowledge assistants (RAG). We build with LangGraph and LangChain, deploy on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, use n8n for clear and stable workflows, and ElevenLabs for voice agents, always under the client team's supervision.

- Custom software: web applications, platforms, ERP/CRM integrations and modernization of legacy systems to cloud and serverless architectures on AWS, with AI built into the product.

- Search and AI visibility (GEO/SEO): technical SEO, useful content and a strategy so AI assistants cite the company.

How we work: every project follows AKILI-SPECS, our open-source (MIT) spec-driven methodology published on GitHub and npm. Every requirement is traced to the code, and every release is published. You talk directly with the senior people who build your solution, and custom work is delivered with full transfer of the code and intellectual property.

Leadership: Juan Carlos Cadavid Ruiz (CTO & Co-founder), Stefanie Ortiz (Marketing Director & Co-founder) and Luisa Fernanda Alzate Ruiz (Finance & Legal Director), working with an extended team in DevOps/cloud, UX/UI and full-stack development.
