What was the idea behind starting this organization?
The idea behind Auxano Global services was to establish a company that functioned as the trusted partner of the clients by accompanying hand-in-hand with them, transforming their ideas into fully-fledged products and serving them at every step of the software development lifecycle.

We also have a team of specialist consultants to work on the client's niche needs. This business model enables us to deliver an extraordinary product with cost-effective services.

What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We have built software applications for almost every industry. However, a few massive projects we have seized were from Construction, Healthcare, Entertainment, Fintech, Retail and IoT industry.
Yes, our customers are repetitive due to the value addition we render. Nearly 60% of our clients come back to us for their software needs. Majority of our clients come through references.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a mobile app.
According to our years of experience, the most crucial component in app development is to form an accurate time frame estimate for the initial research, discovery phase, prototyping, and testing phase. We prefer to create a clickable prototype for our clients to get the clarity of requirements precisely.
In general, determining the time frame of developing an app depends on understanding the scope, project complexity, identifying project dependencies, resource allocation, evaluating important milestone, security and scalability requirements along with documenting all the concepts.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile app?
It depends on the type of application, the client's requirements and the level of complexity of the project. We have done a few mobile projects where designing and development was completed just in two months. However, a demanding and complex idea that needs multiple features might take between 6-7 months to come to reality.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a mobile application?
It again depends on the client's requirements and preferences. Most of the clients know which platform they want to go for their application. If the client is not aware, we analyze the market, find out the most user-friendly and robust platform to implement the idea.
Languages we love to work on:
Objective-C
Swift
Java
Kotlin
Flutter
React Native
Xamarin
Ionic
React.js
Javascript
Typescript
C++
Cordova
AWS Cloud
Node.js
Google Cloud
Which platform do you suggest your clients to begin with when they approach you with an idea (Android or iOS) and why?
As mentioned in the previous question, we research the market and find out the demand after that we make any suggestion. Yet, according to our years of experience and expertise, we prefer application development in Android because it's faster as iOS has quite several restrictions.
Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?
All of these technologies have different capabilities. Though native, hybrid and cross-platform all have their own set of pros and pitfalls. Each one of these technologies shines when implemented with the right vision and compelling strategy. We tend to prioritize Native as it provides more holistic, intuitive user experience and full access to the OS's development tools. Nevertheless, we have expanded our capabilities within cross-platform frameworks such as React Native, Flutter and Xamarin.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
The cost of a mobile app relies on the level of complexity, the scope of work, features, design solutions, project duration, and technology requirements. We believe in being transparent with our clients for any cost attached to the app development.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We are quite flexible and our payment structure can be agreed depending on the client's requirements and vision. It could be hourly as well as fixed cost. We discuss the payment terms with each client and pick the best solution which is well suited for both sides.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Honestly, it depends on various factors. Yes, we have worked in projects for $5000 where there was no profit for us, but we took it as an opportunity to showcase our expertise and skills. We make these kinds of projects and consider them a chance to build a longer-term partnership for solution development.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
2018 was a fantastic year! We got multiple opportunities to work on the most trending and advanced technologies and build apps and software that added value for our clients. I would say the most of our projects fell in between $50,000 - $150,000 range.
Which business model do you suggest to your clients enabling them to generate revenue from mobile applications? Why?
As every business is unique, we render suggestions based on the vertical they are operating in and business value they are offering to the users. We research the client's industry, what their competitions are up to and what are the market trends to understand what could be the best way to generate revenue. We also prioritize the value the app renders to the end users.
