Project Requirements

We designed few templates and parallelly worked on database structure designing and development. We released a test version of On-Boarding tool for client review. We divided the project requirements into four (4) major modules

• User Module
• On-boarding module
• Reporting module
• Off-boarding module

A. User Module - In User Module, there are 3 types of users - Admin, HR and Department Head.

Admin and HR will have the administrative privileges - create/edit/delete anything.

The department head has limited access to the tool. He can view basic information updated by HR and edit information related to his department. He cannot view other departmental activities.

B. On-boarding Module - The on-boarding module works as follows:

The employee information would be filled up either by HR or the employee. The HR would send an email to employee asking him to fill up the detailed information. After employee completes the details and submits the form, he would not be able to edit/modify the content later on.

When HR enters the details and submits, a notification email goes to every department (IT, Sales & Marketing, Administrative, Security, Meeting, Payroll and Performance) to complete their respective processes.

Every time the department updates information, an email notification goes back to the HR/Admin.

C. Reporting Module: - This system has two reports, on-boarding and off-boarding. On-boarding report shows the employees' details and all departments' steps followed during the on-boarding process. Off-boarding report shows the employees' details and all departments' steps followed during the off-boarding.

On-boarding reports were generated in a standard and branded PDF format.

D. Off-boarding Module: - Off-boarding process functioned like the On-boarding Module.

SunPower required web development services as the company wanted a local presence for their global website. Their target audience was based in Israel, which meant that the website would be in the Hebrew language! Sunpower needed HTML prototyping as well as implementation of an advanced CSS

• Analyze: As a leading web development company, BluEnt offered custom website design services to SunPower. Our HTML5 experts reviewed the coding structure of http://global.sunpower.com. We got a report on the functionalities and information architecture with our team of UX designers. Our team also prepared a detailed report on the existing HTML format, CSS features and Javascript. This phase identified and analyzed critical areas and their impacts on the website.
• Restructure: We restructured and enhanced the CSS to improve the usability and accessibility of the content.
• Right-to-left (RTL) language support: Hebrew is an RTL language, wherein, writing begins from the right side of the page and continues to the left. We aligned the CSS to support an RTL language.
• Discover: The UX team discovered that the features had to be restructured to match the coding format in Hebrew.
• Modify: We made the necessary modifications in the CSS files to replicate the functionalities in the SunPower global website.
• Integrate: We provided xHTML/CSS in Hebrew. We integrated jQuery plugins for 'Scrolling Banners' and 'Modal Popup for Video.'

Project Requirements

Counterpart CD was interested in completely restructuring their website's look and feel. BluEnt's primary job was to re-develop the website and involve the complex functionalities such as flexible and interactive portfolio and client section. Every section had its detailed page where the content management system had to accommodate multiple needs of the website. The new website needed a set of dynamic functionalities such as add, modify and delete to play with the sliders, images, content and icons and more.

The driving force behind this web project was to enhance the client's marketplace personality and performance. Despite following the standard design and development process, we were also inclined to deliver a speckles functional website with unique features. From design to launch, we double-checked every detail required to build this website foreseeing the plans of the client.
