About Company:
The Honest Company, founded by Jessica Alba in 2012, works towards empowering people to live happy, healthy lives. The brand’s committed to creating safe and delightful products for babies and the homes they live.

Business Need:
The ‘Honest’ team wanted a developer to translate their business ideas into an eye-catching website.

Solution:
After an in-depth understanding of their unique model, Copper Mobile offered a solution aligning with their business logic. Unlike any Ecommerce platform, they use bundles of products instead of individual SKUs (Stock Keeping Units).

Copper Mobile team delivered a beautiful design for their website and two more applications for Android and iOS platforms. The developed website had a separate blog section and reading resources for mothers. It could help them track their ovulation cycle and their kid’s growth and teach them how to eat healthily. In a Project-based/ turn-key engagement, we act as your end-to-end Technology Solution Partner. Right from building the Strategy together, working on UI/UX, Architecture Design, Development, Quality Assurance, and Deployment to ongoing Support & Maintenance. This generally can be structured as Fixed Bid engagement if the requirements are well-documented and/or finalized for the planned release.

If the requirements are not defined, documented, prioritized, or analyzed from a business perspective, it can be executed as a Time and Materials engagement within a ballparked budget or it can be initiated as a Discovery Phase to help with defining the roadmap that can be later converted to Fixed Bid or continue to run as TnM as per Client's preference. In either case, the engagement is fully Agile and transparent to the Client's stakeholders, to be aware of the progress and priorities of various deliverables aimed toward the business goals established.

2. Team-Based or Team Extension -
This engagement model is an option where the Client may have a team in-house and desires to establish or extend a Team that needs our expertise to augment a specific project or skills. In general, this could also be a remote Team, co-located Team, blended Team, offshore Team, nearshore Team, Hybrid Team, etc. At the same time, the focus continues to become a very cohesive Team to the Client's culture, process, and vision to enable the scalability requirements for Client-managed initiatives.

Fix Bid Payment Model: It's a milestone-driven payment structure where we bill the client after completing the pre-determined project milestones. Change Management is closely followed in this process to align with the Fixed Project Requirements to be successfully delivered.
Time & Material Model - In the T&M payment structure, clients are charged on an hourly bill rate basis for the project resources and with an overall maximum budget identified to work with. Communication, Governance, and Collaboration are key to aligning with Agile goals of business and time to market.
