Seven years ago, when our company Debut Infotech opened its doors, developing mobile apps wasn’t considered to be an easy feat. Our primary aim was to wipe out that mythology once and for all and make it easy & affordable for companies to build mobile apps. We don’t specifically outsource or hire third-party vendors for any of our projects. We have an experienced team of 85+ (and still counting!) quick-witted professionals who work tirelessly to bring meaningful products to the market.

Being a reputed mobile app development company, we do not commit to a project vacuously, without any information. Even while addressing a bug, we analyze the requirements meticulously and only then commit a time frame, as we don’t exceed our committed timelines. According to us, complexity, size and relevant experience of the project are the key parameters critical in determining the time frame of the mobile application.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a mobile app?
At Debut Infotech, we follow an AGILE methodology, which is why we don’t work on the frontend and backend of a mobile app separately. At first, we create a wireframe of the product, and once 25 percent of the wireframe is done, we move to the designing part. Then, we approve the designs from the client before proceeding further to the functionality part. Later, the backend developer integrates the desired functionalities of the website with the system. However, in general, backend development involves more time and effort as compared to frontend development. Also, it depends upon the features and scope of the application. Simply put, the complexities of the specs determine the amount of time and effort that is required to build a mobile app.

There are numerous parameters which need to be taken care of before selecting a platform for a mobile app, which includes specifications, target audience (Android/iOS), demographics, technical features, timeline and budget of the application, etc.

Again, that specifically depends on countless parameters such as the target audience, demographics, specific age group of potential customers, user preferences, app features, and more.
Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?
It all depends on the specs, terms, the goal of the app, and its users’ preferences. We develop both native and hybrid mobile apps for iOS and Android using best practices and the latest app development frameworks. In general, native apps are always recommended over hybrid apps – if the client’s timeframe and budget are flexible. On the other hand, hybrid apps can be considered a good option when we need to deal with data and where user experience is not a significant factor.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
Cost of the mobile application specifically depends on the platform you choose, i.e. native or hybrid, the type of the app such as whether it’s a dynamic app or standalone or gaming app, the complexity of the app (features it includes), multiple language support, backend integrations, and the resources required to deliver the app within timeframe. At Debut Infotech, we’re committed to providing a very logical quotation only after brainstorming the complete requirements and technical feasibility of the application project.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We follow three pricing models: fixed price (milestone-based model), time and material, and $10k MVP.
Fixed Price: After evaluating the project scope, we arrive at a single figure which is split into convenient payment milestones according to progressive stages in the product development.
Time and Material: For complex projects or those that involve variable cost factors or extensive experimentation, we propose a service menu rate card that clearly indicates resource costs such as talent, time invested, and materials involved.
$10k MVP: If you are a startup with limited funds or an entrepreneur bootstrapping your budget for the product, then we offer a $10K Minimum Viability Product.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
At Debut Infotech, we usually seek projects of the budget not less than $7,500 USD. However, we are not rigid with this. If a project of interest appears (and if we believe that it can add value to our organization), we never hesitate in accepting it.

BestTyme is a unique offering that aims to streamline the current way medical sales reps & clinicians meetings are done. Clinicians, on the platform can set their availability and would get rep meeting schedules only when they want. Medical sales reps, on the other hand, can optimize their schedule as per the zip code they are targeting. The platform then enables sales reps to book appointments for the specified time, with just one click!
Problems and Challenges
BestTyme approached Debut Infotech with the requirement of developing a one-stop solution to connect Medical Sales Reps and Clinicians. Conventionally, medical representatives had to travel to the clinic and then wait for the clinician to get free from patients. The clinician on the other hand, had to take unexpected time-offs which created a disoriented requirement model. In fact, on average, administrative staff spend over 10 hrs per week to coordinate visits and lunches, costing $11 per hour, or $5,720 annually!
The Solution
Debut Infotech created a strategy to streamline the current sector by creating a solution that connected both clinicians and medical sales reps seamlessly. Not only they could schedule a meeting as per their availability - if two sales reps from the same team were planning to visit the same clinic - an update would be sent to both of them.
