A reliable partner that listens, handles detail with patience, and delivers work that fits.

I engaged Heka across three connected workstreams: UX/UI consulting, a custom mobile app built around my workflow, and an internal management platform I use to track operations and pull reports. The mobile app runs on my phone via TestFlight and has become part of how I manage things on the go. The internal platform replaced a handful of disconnected tools I was juggling before — now I enter my work in one place and pull reports directly. I'm picky on UX and UI and push back a lot. Instead of treating revisions as scope creep, they took the feedback, iterated, and came back with something better. Communication was quick, usually same-day, and proactive. Describe your project in brief

Heka has been working with Hopeland as our external product and software partner across three connected areas. First, they provided UX/UI consulting by reviewing our existing product flows, identifying friction points, and supporting design iterations to improve the user experience. Second, they built a custom mobile application tailored to my day-to-day workflow, handling everything from discovery and design through development and delivery—the app is now central to how I manage work on the go. Third, they developed an internal management platform that consolidates information I previously scattered across different tools, letting me enter work, track progress, and generate reports without manual data consolidation. The engagement started in 2025 and is ongoing, with regular iterations as new needs emerge.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Two things stood out. First, they actually take time to understand how you work before proposing anything — no generic templates, the output reflected my real workflow. Second, they're genuinely patient with detail. I'm hard to please on UX and UI and push back a lot, but they handled feedback without losing momentum or quality. That combination is why I kept working with them across multiple projects.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Honestly nothing significant comes to mind. The work met what I needed and the collaboration ran smoothly throughout. If something comes up in future iterations we'll handle it directly, but looking at what's been delivered so far I don't have a real complaint.
