RQ PYOLOGY × Hub Studio
RQ PYOLOGY, a new medical-grade skincare brand under the Shiseido Group, required a scalable visual system that could translate its scientific philosophy into market-ready communication. Hub Studio was commissioned to support the brand from the ground up, beginning with Visual Identity (VI) guideline development before moving into visualisation.
The first phase focused on transforming abstract brand values—Rhythm Quotient (RQ), Japanese sensibility, and clinical professionalism—into clear, executable visual rules. This VI framework established consistency across color, composition, tone, and symbolic usage, forming the foundation for all future content.
Building on this system, Hub Studio applied its human-touched AIGC approach to accelerate visual exploration while maintaining strict creative and legal control. AI supported rapid ideation for product Key Visuals and social content, while all outputs were refined through human curation and post-production.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
What we liked least was the initial adjustment required within our internal processes and global approval workflows to fully align with hubStudio’s breakthrough way of working. The scale, speed, and creative ambition driven by the fusion of AI and human touch sometimes created tension, as in-house teams and global stakeholders needed time to recalibrate decision-making and creative alignment. While this new paradigm clearly surpasses traditional content curation, it requires organisation change
