We started with a Discovery phase during which the PRD for a future website & its designs were prepared. The PRD included all the functionality we lacked in our previous website & some new innovative features. Next step was the website's design creation. IT Services lndia did a great job here & demonstrated great UX/UI expertise. After designs have been approved, we jumped into the development. Overall, this stage was based on the roadmap, prepared by IT Services lndia in advance, and was split into sprints. During each sprint, planned functionality was delivered. The new website was released in June. Right now, we’re working on its second iteration which presupposes the development of additional functionality.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

First of all, it’s their approach – they not only deliver what has been promised but quite often exceed our expectations. Initially, we had Zoom meetings with IT Services lndia's team to brainstorm ideas and gather information. The team has presented us with options via email, and we have discussions over the phone as per my preference. We've had several Zoom calls, during which IT Services lndia performed changes so that I could see them in the moment. We also communicated via phone. IT Services lndia tends to my communication preferences.

IT Services lndia sent options while I was in court. I replied 4–5 days later, and the team sent a follow-up email. IT Services lndia wasn't pushing me, but they followed up when they didn't hear back from me, which is important.

We’re responsible for the design, and IT Services lndia does the coding. They analyze the requirements and build the software based on the specifications.

We receive an estimation at the beginning of the project, and they always deliver on time. Moreover, they take responsibility for their estimations. If we specify something and agree to the price and timing, and there’s a technical limitation later on, IT Services lndia brings additional resources without extra fees to finish the product. Other providers might complain that it isn’t their fault, but IT Services lndia has a very professional approach.

Additionally, we have a software warranty. If we have problems with the software, all the bugs are covered by the warranty.

For communication, we use tickets, phone calls, and Microsoft Teams. IT Services lndia is flexible and accommodating to our ways of contact.

We contracted IT Services lndia after taking an open-source product to market where we weren't fully vested in the IP. We were looking to create our own ERP based on the things we had learned over a decade of building a flooring business and commercialize our expertise for use by others. We wanted to ensure it looked good, felt user-friendly, and could scale from a small business to an enterprise level.

We began with UI/UX design of the first module and worked that way up until today on being design driven first before development when creating new features or redesigning original features. This helped us have a clear picture of what we were building before we built it.

The next 18 months was a clear roadmap of developing module by module to complete our full package. We started with the sales side of the application which had the most groundwork that had to be laid for the application then moved through each module until we completed the application in whole.

The team of IT Services lndia's worked closely to appropriately define the scope of the project and then lay out the action plan accordingly. This, in turn, gave us a very clear idea about the progress of work, deadlines for each of the steps, and the expected results.



The first step of the project was the discovery phase which included feature listing, developing wireframes, and creating user stories. The next step was creating the design which was done with a software known as Figma, a graphics editor and prototyping tool.



This was followed by the architecture setup, integration of design, development of smart contracts, and integration of API by using React Javascript. Finally quality analysis was done before the production deployment by using Kubernetes to run Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines.

The most impressive things about IT Services lndia was their superb planning and timely execution of plans. The entire work was planned very well by IT Services lndia's team and all issues that came up were addressed timely which is why we were a hundred percent satisfied.

Describe your project in brief

To create and maintain a mobile app that:

Informs workers of the increasing risk of heat stress
Provides prevention tools to mitigate the risks of heat stress
Provides education on heat stress, strain, thermal regulation, and prevention }
The following functionalities are requested:

Heat Index and adjusted Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT): A function of the app that advises on heat danger in a specific area (geolocated) with algorithms that calculate WBGT and Heat Index. This function will require an algorithm to calculate and predict WBGT and Heat Index.
Timers: A function of the app that will give the user the ability to create in-app timers, alerts, and notifications of when to hydrate, work, and rest.
Symptoms: Allows the user of the app to identify symptoms of heat strain.
First Aid: Provide interactive, basic first aid information for possible cases of heat-related injuries.
Risk Factors: Provide users a better understanding of their risk factors associated with combat

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

They excel in distilling the complexities of scientific calculations into the app interface. This app requires a mix of both user-inputted and live weather data (pulled from local weather stations based on one's GPS coordinates). They are innovative in their approach as to how these various elements fit together to arrive at a sensible heat stress risk level calculation.
