High dedication to development and product

I needed a team of frontend developers to develop our product (green field) in an incredible short amount of time. Besides the great communication (response time, transparency) I really enjoyed working with the team members as they are skilled professionals which think of the product value too.
When we needed more (or less) developers they were even capable of changing the team size on demand.

I'm working with JSN a few months (fulltime, 1-3 developers) now and will continue to do so. Strongly recommended!

Excellent team

As someone with limited outside web development experience, and have had issues with previous contractors, working with JSN has been a refreshing change.

They are excellent at communication and always adding value to our product where ever they can. They not only keep me informed at all times, but take the time to fully understand the intent and purpose of the product, so they can deliver a higher quality product than I had envisaged. All this whilst delivering the product ahead of or on schedule.

I have come back to them for further work and they are now our prefered web development contractors. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone, especially people with little experience in hiring web development teams. Working with them is a genuine pleasure.

Excellent Coding Team

I've had experience of Tim's coding when he started out, always high quality work and clear in communication. He has made the transition to running his coding team by hiring high quality coders and a project manager who is not afraid of asking hard questions. In our case, we wanted a web-app and JSN took on the responsibility of ensuring it works across all platforms and browsers. Superb.

Lot of promises

We hired JSN to work on a part of a web project and API work. They promised a lot and did not deliver. The code was poor and with full of issues which they did not consider needing to be fixed. When we pressed them to fix those bugs, they did not return emails or calls.

Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the company?
We are a team of specialists in web and mobile development area specializing in JavaScript / Node / PHP. I’m the Founder and CEO of the company being personally involved in all work processes and responsible for the growth, progression, and bringing the company's ideas and goals to life.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
The main idea behind starting a company was using bleeding-edge tech to deliver the best possible quality services to the people who might need those services.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We are operating both as an in-house team and outsource vendor depending on the client’s business needs.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Since I am a developer myself, my top priority is to ensure that a service my clients get is the best possible, and the solutions we provide are perfectly crafted.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
We work with companies belonging to multiple industries, like e-commerce, healthcare, art, logistics, traveling, IT, real estate, management, etc. We cooperate with some of our previous clients, who sometimes recommend us to their partners and friends.
Mention the objectives or the parameters critical in determining the time frame of developing a web app.
When determining a time frame of developing a web app, we are usually guided by the following crucial parameters:
  • determine the type of project and the area of usage;
  • determine the clients' business needs;
  • technology preference;
  • budget frame.
How much effort in terms of time goes into developing the front end and back end of a web app?
That depends on the scale of a web app, the development of large and complex web systems can last up to several years, smaller ones can be finished within a few months, our average project usually takes 3-6 months to develop.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a web application?
The key parameters here are the client’s business needs and the project area of usage.
Which platform and technologies do you prefer to use in the development of your web apps?
We mostly use Node.js (Express), and TypeScript based Nest.js for the backend part and React / Vue.js / Angular for the frontend one and stick to Serverless deployment so that all-Javascript stack really shines there.

Such technology choice provides our clients with business optimized to the maximum solutions from the performance and maintainability perspectives.
Do you offer website design templates or customized website design, and do you have a responsive website design?
We prefer doing customized website design, though from time to time, we suggest using some website design templates to fit the client’s needs and budget. All our designs are responsive.
Which Content Management System do you prefer to use (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, etc.)?
Most of our projects are too complex and loaded to be built with CMS, so we rather use Node (Express) / PHP (Symfony / Laravel) for the content management part as well.
Do you provide website maintenance services?
Sure, we do.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a web application?
The complexity of the future web system and the needed tech stack.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)
Hourly Payment, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone, Payment per month. 
We usually select the structure that works best for the client.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
There are clients with different budgets. In case we have available resources, we gladly help customers with any budget expectations, but still, it should correspond to the actual hours spent. Our minimum budget so far is $500.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2018?
Our price range of the projects in 2018 varied from $500 to $100 000.
