We started working with Konstant more than a year ago. This was my first project with them and I had my inhibitions about the ability of the team. The first meeting we had with Mr. DD gave me the much-needed confidence that these guys are knowledgeable and know what they are talking which eventually led me to award this project to Konstant. We are just like any other startup operating on a tight budget, designs that are not thoroughly vetted, features that are not prioritized. So flexibility in this scenario become absolutely critical to the project. Konstant understood that and provided all the needed support. We had to revise our design numerous times and add a bunch of new features that were not initially discussed, there was back and forth on estimates provided for features, the point I am trying to make is, they are ready to work with you to make you happy. They do take feedback seriously. I also believe things were little manageable for me because I have a technical background. I am going to work with Konstant on our Phase 2 rollout as well.

I built a new app and promotional website with Konstant Infosolutions. In short, my experience was excellent. They deserve more than 5 stars. I highly recommend them. The App is fairly complex with a number of features. The results could not have been better. They had a solution to every problem. I could not imagine doing development work without them. They are knowledgeable, professional, responsive and extremely capable. If you are considering development work you need to talk to Konstant Infosolutions

This engagement is the third time that we have contracted Konstant Infosolutions to do some work for our company. That in itself should indicate the amount of confidence and faith we have in Konstant to deliver EXACTLY what we want and need, on budget and on schedule. Our applications were really quite complex in nature and unique so there was a lot of back-and-forth from both sides in order to get it to where we wanted. Konstant listened to us every step of the way and implemented every single amendment and change that we requested. Overall, we have been and continue to be, completely satisfied with the Konstant team and results.

CEO & Founder
Visit Profile

Kindly share your feedback on how Goodfirms has been doing so far in increasing your visibility among potential clients.

Our time on Goodfirms has been made by the amazing people we have met on the way. It does not matter how big or small the project is. Every single project is prominent for us. We thank Goodfirms for being the referral traffic source pipeline for our website. We strongly feel this pipeline will bulk up again. We thank Goodfirms to provide us with 'pre-qualified' leads, helping us focus, and deliver substantial value to our clients, saving time and effort in marketing and qualifying leads.

Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.

Assuming my responsibilities as the CEO of Konstant Infosolutions, my name is Vipin Jain, and we have been comporting the software development process, right since 2003, along with co-founder and Managing Director Mr. Manish Jain. Our objective is to turn this organization into a global brand.

Drawing on the perspectives, we are a plugged-in, people-first, and purpose-led organization. We are increasingly confident that with the economy with rollback, we'll expand organically and attract top talent. The unfolding climate and societal crisis made us appreciate the need to change the way we work, and tackle environmental dangers and societal challenges together.

We believe that there is no substitute for a regular in-person office setup, yet we are in process of adopting a boundary-less workplace model, to open up opportunities to acquire talent, introduce employee-friendly practices, leave policies, reset and recharge policies.

What is the story behind starting this company?

We work in an experimental system. I like it when our teams try out new ideas. I think we ought to expand, not contract, our exponent system. We aim to be a champion in global service delivery. 19 years back we started with an idea to deliver software online as a service. We had a clear future that everyone understood and aligned to. It attracted followers and inspired them to take action. We strive to increase our presence in global services by strengthening our human capital.

What is your company's business model–in-house team or third-party vendors/ outsourcing?

We work through a clear economic, socio-political vision, following a rollout of well–thought–through frameworks that harness the energy of our people to achieve it. The vision since the early 2003s was to steadily separate the management from the workforce economy, by enabling competition and innovation, including opening up to the world through IT service offerings.

How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?

What we do not gain directly from swings, we may gain from the expected roundabout. We expect a massive increase in infrastructure spending through higher capital outlays. This spending will benefit us and our clients as the demand for IT development/outsourcing services is rising. The re-opening of the economy will cause small to mid-side industries to re-enter the job market. Subsequent reforms in government procurement will speed up bill payments, enabling us (service provider) to lower working capital costs. This will increase our possibility of a revival in the MSME sector. CapEx will spur opportunities, and it is not unreasonable to expect a better outcome in the coming years. Cheers!

What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?

We often promise an extension of the delivery date but wrap it earlier. We attend to every detail in the project, irrespective of the assigned roles, addressing all the SDLC stages, being responsive, flexible, patient, organized, committed, and communicative, our clients vouch for our clarity.  Here's the list of industries that we cater to Real Estate and Property, On-Demand Solutions, Social Networking, Food and Restaurant, Banking, Finance and Insurance, Education and eLearning, eCommerce, Retail and B2B, Travel and Hospitality, Media and Entertainment, Healthcare and Finance, Transport and Automotive, Gaming and Leisure, Directory and Organization, Event and Tickets. Our projects have helped fetch repeat customers, helping us through organizational expansion.

Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most?

  • On-demand app solution.
  • Chat messenger/Beacon Solutions.
  • Classified/Directory App Solution.
  • Mobile/Web App Development.
  • Enterprise Mobility Solutions.
  • Emerging Technologies.
  • Cloud Services.

What is your customer satisfaction rate? What steps do you take to cater to your customer's needs and requirements?

We measure key performance indicators (KPIs) of customer service on a 6-pointer scale. We keep track of customer satisfaction by asking them to rate our services after the completion of the project. Net Promoter Score (NPS) allows us to know the likeliness of clients to refer us to someone else.

Clients stay tuned in due to speed and performance. They anchor to the service, quality, reliability, assurance, appearance, empathy towards employees, and responsiveness towards offering a speedy service.

We try to win over customers' perceptions of the provided service into their expectations. We strive to tilt the needle on the ‘Likert scale’ from strongly disagree to strongly agree.

What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?

Being a service industry, we are here to cater to our client's needs. We strive to be very accessible, ensure that they have a sublime experience, bring our best expertise to the table, beware of any pedantic/condescending remarks, know our competition, and be innovative, voracious with the online tools.

We are curious about learning new things, not just tricked-out technology, collaborate, work with each other, and make our own decisions, invite two-way conversation using language everyone can understand. We foster greater in-person interactions, embed business and communication practices to break down physical and digital barriers between staff. We consider Intranet or digital communication channels (i.e. Microsoft Teams, Yammer, Slack, and Trello) to cultivate transparent and connected information exchange.

We try developing digital confidence and skills using customer relationship management (CRM) platforms, focus on human interactions instead of narrowing down on one single technology. We ensure that our terminology is well understood across the industry.

What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)

We mostly follow Agile, keep variable scope so that project teams can immediately and incrementally incorporate learning and feedback, and ultimately create better products. Still, the changes do not creep, because one small modification is expected and accepted throughout the life of the project. Agile takes care of expansive change in requirements that begins sometime after requirements are base-lined at the beginning of the project and continue throughout the life of the project. Sprint backlogs and burn-down charts help us stay upfront with our time-boxed offerings. It helps us predict and manage our performance, and plan accordingly. Here, we go with Pay-Per-Feature, Pay-Per-Milestone according to deliverable phases.

Some projects are timeless, and some have a very specific shelf life. If the software didn't need that criteria, hold it out of circulation, and archive it so that it finds a use later. All these steps take some time, but it's worth the effort. When people find our software that has our brand, our logo, and our validation attached to it, they want to know that our software has our seal of approval. When the scope is narrow, we follow a Fixed Price Model. Here the payment is set across in months.

If the project requirements lie somewhere in between – we play it out from the client’s perspective. Regarding their expectations, our budget, available technologies, and time.

Budgeting helps us validate the over-commitment of certain resources and subsequent spending per department. We set budgets to hire and train in case we require re-tooling our organization. We pay the Software license costs per feature, one-time, or periodic, until the project life cycle.

Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If not, on what minimum budget you have worked for?

Budgeting is crucial, and doing it right requires succumbing to arbitrary cuts, justification process, major tweaks, loathing with endurance, and a carefully crafted IT strategy and roadmap. We estimate recurring expenses like hardware leases and staffing to expenses dedicated to a fixed-duration project or initiative.

We consider checking upon the costs involved with running our business - fixed and direct costs. We need to trace clients' preferences - are they driven by the lowest cost or by the value of our services? How do we want to position ourselves in the market - do we want to be recognized as the most expensive brand available, or the one providing economical services? Plus, snooping upon what our competitors are charging for similar services?

Budgeting in advance equips us in identifying and executing the IT initiatives that are crucial to our teams. We understand a customer's apprehensiveness to choose us - (1) Can we afford this? (2) Can it be done in time to meet my expectations?
Almost every sales meeting regarding software development comprehends answers to these questions. It outlines the amount of effort and costs of a software development project.

What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2021?

Estimating the cost of software development requires in-depth contemplation of the size of the organization, the duration of the project, the technologies that we use, the demand in the market, the availability of skilled developers, the time to market, the development methodology.

We base our pricing on facilitating minimum requirements, starting at 10K for start-ups to expanding up to 200K – 300K for Large Scale Organizations/Enterprises.
This cost structure is a summation of Direct costs + Indirect costs + Intangible costs + Opportunity costs + Costs of potential risks, to calculate - the cost-benefit ratio (CBR), return on investment (ROI), net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and the payback period (PBP).

A ratio and proportion and permutation-combination of all these factors help us determine the overall cost of the project.

Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?

Over time we have begun to crystalize our thinking into what can be called a Vision. We push ourselves to think big, and then bigger. We never limit ourselves to just the next few months. We think about our next few years and even decades.
Do we envisage the future that others haven't imagined? We ideate a future we're committed to making happen? We conceive fixing a problem better than others in the market. We think of making a change in the world via software development services.

There is no set doctrine to visualize our progress. But we imagine a world map with blinking lights all across. These are the people that know us, have worked with us, keep us in their hindsight with respect, and rely on our organization. Each light represents someone who recognizes our efforts, adapting to new ways of our thinking because of the ideas we have shared with the world over time.

We imagine these small scattered lights converting into campfires, and eventually, the whole world is enlightened with a knowingness. We measure the resonance, relevance, and reach of our significant software development efforts. Ideas light up the world and resonate with our audience, and the messenger is credible. We visualize touching upon new verticals, new technologies, emerging BlockChain projects, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual and Augmented Reality, 3D Printing, Robotics, Drones, and repurposing older programs to embed new technologies in upcoming years.
