This case study deals with the successful implementation of an order for the company z-optimations. The company specializes in the optimization of CNC machines. The aim of the project was to develop an analysis and monitoring software that enables better observation and improvement of the cycle times of the machines.

The challenge

The initial challenge was to find an efficient solution to monitor the cycle times of the CNC machines. z-optimations needed a user-friendly software that would allow operators to quickly and easily recognize the cycle times in order to be able to react immediately in case of slower times. It was also important for the software to graphically display measurement points and cycle times to enable clear analysis.

Solution

After careful evaluation of various options, the development team decided on Laravel as the backend and Vue.js as the frontend framework. This combination provided the necessary flexibility and performance to meet z-optimations' requirements. The software was developed from the ground up to ensure it met the company's specific needs. The team implemented a variety of features to optimize the monitoring of the CNC machines. These included graphical representations of measuring points and cycle times, allowing operators to easily identify trends and deviations. 

Likamundi is a naturopathic school that has set itself the task of offering its students comprehensive and practice-oriented training. In order to prepare their students for the exam in the best possible way, Likamundi wanted an online platform that would enable them to prepare for the exam.

Solution

Laracraft was commissioned to help develop an online platform that would meet Likamundi's requirements. We decided to use Laravel, one of the leading PHP web frameworks, to develop a robust and scalable platform. Likamundi's online platform offers its students a variety of features, including: * timed practice exams * management of exam results and progress analysis * integration of feedback mechanisms to identify and address weaknesses.

The company Progressmaker operates a consulting platform based on Laravel. The platform has experienced rapid growth in recent months, which has caused the performance of the website to slow down. The management decided to optimize the performance in order to improve the user experience and increase sales.

Challenge

Progressmaker's consulting platform was experiencing slow loading times and poor user experience. This affects the user's shopping experience and leads to a decrease in sales.

Solution

Cache: A Redis caching strategy was implemented to store frequently used data in the cache instead of retrieving it from the database on each page load.
Image optimization: The image size was reduced to shorten the loading time.
Request minimization: The number of requests has been reduced by removing unnecessary data requests.
Database optimization: Database indexing and query optimization has been performed to reduce query time. This has eliminated some N+1 issues.
Server optimization: The server configuration was adjusted to achieve better performance and scalability.
