Presto

We founded the PRESTO translation agency in 1990 in Prague, originally as a small family company run by the husband and wife team of Hana and Milan Havlín. I, Milan Havlín, translated and interpreted as well as proofreading the translations of other translators. My wife looked after day-to-day operations and the accounting and on top of all this, took care of our family.

Over the course of two years, we had become a translation agency with five employees, with a solid base of translators and quickly developing portfolio of regular customers.

Three more years passed and PRESTO had become one of the leading translation agencies in the Czech Republic. As time went on, PRESTO gradually made a name for itself as one of the most important translation companies in Central Europe thanks to long-term contracts with foreign customers.
