They saw inefficiencies in our processes that we'd stopped noticing, and built a solution.

What impressed me most was their methodical approach. Instead of immediately jumping into development, they spent time understanding our entire quote-to-cash workflow. They identified bottlenecks we'd accepted as normal business constraints. The final solution didn't just put our old process into Salesforce, It redesigned it to be fundamentally better. We've seen better data accuracy and faster deal processing since implementation.

Executive Interview of SDLC Corp

CEO & Co-Founder
Visit Profile

Please introduce yourself and your role within the company.

I'm Kishan Srivastava, CEO and co-founder of SDLC Corp. My job is to set the company's direction and make sure our growth, our delivery capability, and our technology investments stay aligned with what the market actually needs.

Day-to-day, that means working closely with our leadership, engineering, finance, and client-facing teams. A good part of my time also goes to client relationships, exploring new markets, improving how we run internally, and helping our teams make clear, well-informed decisions.

Tell us about your company and the journey behind its founding.

Anuj Yadav and I founded SDLC Corp in 2015. What we'd noticed was a gap between what businesses expected from technology and the way projects were being delivered, which gave them something else.

We started small and stayed close to work. Both of us were involved in every engagement, which meant we learned about our clients' operational problems directly rather than through a status report.

From there, we grew outwards from core software development into enterprise platforms, AI, cloud, automation, gaming and digital transformation. That path is what turned us into a global company working with emerging businesses and established enterprises alike.

What services and solutions does your company specialize in?

We offer end-to-end technology services for businesses that want to launch digital products, modernise what they already have, automate their operations, and get their platforms ready for whatever comes next.
Services and solutions:
  • Custom Software Development
  • Web and Mobile Application Development
  • Salesforce Consulting
  • Odoo Development
  • ERP and CRM Integration
  • AI and Machine Learning
  • Cloud and DevOps
  • Blockchain Development
  • Digital Transformation
  • Game and iGaming Development

Our Products:

DAN: An AI-powered platform for document processing, data extraction, and workflow automation.

Pulastya AI: Voice automation and conversational workflows, built for customer communication and operational use cases.

Praxis AI is an enterprise platform for institutional management and operational tracking.

Foresite: A business intelligence solution that turns enterprise data into dashboards and operational insight people actually use.

Odoo Connectors: More than twenty ready-to-use connectors linking Odoo with finance, logistics, e-commerce and other business systems.

What interests me is how these fit together. We don't recommend technology in isolation. We work out the right combination of platforms, engineering expertise and products for the environment the client is actually operating in.

What industries do you primarily serve?

Logistics, fintech, healthcare, retail and e-commerce, education, manufacturing, real estate, gaming and iGaming. We also work with technology-led startups and with enterprises that span several of those sectors at once.
Whenever we enter an industry, we start by learning how it works, the workflows, the users, the regulations, the integrations, the commercial pressures. We never assume the same development approach travels from one sector to the next. The technology has to reflect how that particular business runs, and where its real risks and opportunities sit.

What differentiates your company from competitors?

We combine product thinking, domain understanding, and visible execution in a single engagement. That's what I'd point to.

We don't treat a project as a queue of tickets to be closed. Our teams are expected to question assumptions, surface risks early, and think about how a technical decision will affect users, operations and revenue, not just whether it complies.

Clients also get a dedicated, cross-functional team and real visibility into where the project stands. And we contribute well beyond development: discovery, UX reviews, architecture planning, technical research, product guidance. Engineering depth paired with practical business thinking that pairing is the difference.

How do you ensure project success and client satisfaction?

Success is largely decided before development starts. We begin by getting clear on the business objective, the users, the technical requirements, the outcomes we're aiming for, the risks, and what "done" looks like. Once that's written down, the client and our team are working from the same picture.

Our technical and research teams come in at that stage rather than later, so we can test feasibility properly and put forward an architecture that's secure, scalable and realistic.

Through delivery, clients get regular updates, milestone reviews, access to progress dashboards, and room to give feedback. We run structured testing, technical reviews and UAT before anything ships. And when priorities shift, or a risk appears, we raise it then, not at the end, when it's expensive.

Can you share a recent success story or notable client achievement?

One I'm particularly proud of is an AI-powered document-processing platform we built for Transworld Logistics.
They were handling more than 2,000 invoices a day, arriving as PDFs in all sorts of formats. The layouts kept changing, so template-based extraction was unreliable. That left manual entry, and manual entry meant a cycle of up to 48 hours from invoice to validated record, with an error rate of roughly 4–5%.

Our team went through the whole workflow before building anything. What came out of it was a system that extracts information from documents whose layout it hasn't seen before, scores its own confidence on each field, sends the uncertain ones to a human reviewer, and passes validated data into the client's ERP through APIs.

Afterwards, the processing cycle dropped from 48 hours to under five minutes for invoices that clear the system's confidence checks. The error rate fell to 0.1%. Cost per invoice direct processing and review time went from $2.50 to $0.30.

That project is a good illustration of where AI earns its keep from a specific operational problem, solved, with numbers you can point at.

What emerging technologies or trends are shaping your business strategy?

Our priorities follow changing business models and what consumers and enterprises will expect next. The big one is the move from experimenting with AI towards agentic AI and genuine automation systems that can carry a multi-step process through, rather than just handing back a recommendation.

We're also paying close attention to AI governance, data privacy, cybersecurity and responsible model use. And as AI workloads grow, cloud economics and FinOps matter just as much, because scale has to stay affordable to be worth having.

Physical AI, robotics and quantum-safe security are areas we keep watching. We adopt something new when there's a credible business case behind it, and not before.

How do you approach innovation and continuous improvement?

The two are tied together. Innovation opens up new possibilities; continuous improvement is what keeps our existing products, processes and delivery practices from quietly going stale.

So we encourage experimentation, retrospectives, proof-of-concept work, performance reviews and open knowledge sharing. Automation, continuous testing and AI-assisted tooling take the repetitive load off our teams and leave them more room for the problems that need actual thought.

What advice would you give businesses looking for a reliable technology partner?

Look at how a company works, not just what it says it can build.

Ask for case studies that are relevant to you. Speak to their previous clients. Find out who will actually be on your project once the sales and discovery stages are over.

Then look at the mechanics, how they scope, how they manage risk, how they handle security, change requests, testing, and post-launch support. Industry knowledge counts for a lot here, because it's what lets a team anticipate compliance requirements, integrations and user expectations instead of discovering them late.
Above all, choose people who understand why the product exists, and who tell you honestly when something isn't going to plan.

What are your company's growth plans and future vision?

We want to be a full-spectrum technology company able to support a business at any stage it happens to be in. That might mean taking a startup from product discovery to its first market-ready platform. It might equally mean helping an enterprise modernise systems running across several departments and regions.

To get there, we're strengthening our global presence, deepening our work in AI, enterprise platforms, cloud engineering and digital transformation, and continuing to build our own products and reusable solutions.

Whatever the engagement, the priority doesn't change: build the best possible experience for the people using it, on top of something secure, practical and ready to grow.

Is there anything else you would like potential clients to know about your company?

That we're comfortable asking difficult questions before development begins. We'd far rather pin down the business case, the user expectations, the technical risks, and the operational impact early than deliver something that looks finished and doesn't hold up in practice.

Finishing the project isn't the goal. Still being useful as the client's product, organisation, and market keep changing is the goal.
