Lead managers and owner of the company looked for a creative design partner to create new branding. It took a long time but when they found our previous cases and felt it was relevant to their expectations and decided to start new branding with us.

We decide to create more fresh and modern branding in comparison with the market. Our goal was to create a benchmark for the Polish (and European) IT industry and for that we decided to use brave and charismatic shapes, colors and work with space. 

The Fashionography Creative — an online magazine dedicated to global fashion, founded in the heart of New York City.

Once the task was set, our team immersed themselves fully in the project from day one. The client already had a sample website they liked, which significantly facilitated our work. We developed a new design that was approved after the first iteration. The site was created on WordPress with the involvement of 2 specialists.

Solar Digital implemented several interesting solutions for The Fashionography project, such as a custom grid on the homepage. This allowed for different blocks, including videos, regular articles, and collections, each with a unique layout. They also introduced video playback and short GIFs directly on article cards, making the content more dynamic and engaging.

Additionally, image optimization was carried out, maintaining high quality and sizes.

The Honest Talk is a Canadian media resource initiated by renowned entrepreneurs Jennifer Stewart and Catherine Clark. It has created a space for women to freely share their stories and experiences. We are excited to present the new website for The Honest Talk, founded by two remarkable women, which highlights the lives and achievements of notable women.

Our work results in a modern, functional, and aesthetically pleasing website that fully meets the client’s needs and ensures a comfortable content management experience. The new site features a user-friendly interface with dedicated sections for podcasts, articles, and profiles of notable Canadian women. Integration with other platforms allows for automated publication and distribution of audio materials. The custom advertising banner management system provides flexible ad display settings.

JDI Brokers is a Swiss company that specializes in FOB BS (Black Sea) brokerage. We have developed branding and corporate identity for this company.

The symbol is based on the sword star, cutting through the abbreviation of plant elements, the main exported resources, on which the company makes a profit — oil, grain, oil seed and meal. 

Our client, Gartal, a Czech construction company, commissioned us for a rebranding service and design for a new website.

We offered a comprehensive solution for designing the GARTAL website, starting with a full audit of the current solution, competitor research, and user journey analysis using specialized tools. Next, we created UX designs — their favorite part, which they greatly appreciated.

Solar Digital did not just create an ordinary UX design but tried to make it detailed so that the client could already see their future site in it. An important stage was the creation of a unique design concept that immediately appealed to the client, which was a pleasant surprise for them. After this, the development of the website design began.

During the design process, we decided to expand the initial scope to include a blog, news, contact, 404 error page, glossary of terms, and informational pages.

Here’s what we achieved in four months of work — a website that impressed GARTAL’s clients and partners. It’s a site where our specialists meticulously think out every pixel. Throughout the project, we didn’t encounter any serious issues, and the client was satisfied with both the process and the outcome.

Sailica mobile application was developed for quick access to useful information. Yachtsmen need to have detailed info about marinas when planning a vacation. This situation usually happens during the yacht trip when there's no pc on the boat. Here, in the app, you can find the phone of the marina, the plan, and the radio channel.

Sustayn specializes in organic farming. Their services include the establishment and maintenance of miscanthus-based biomass plantations and the production of value-added bioproducts such as paper, cardboard, biodegradable bags, pellets, and more.

Our brief for this project included developing a website and design that would differentiate our client in an industry where this is uncommon.

Our work ensured that our client’s mission and values were presented in a modern, stylish, and effective manner. We made sure that the content was easy to edit and provided comprehensive design and programming services.

PlantEco is an international investment platform focused on financing sustainable circular economy projects in the EU and Eastern Europe. Its mission is to drive the development of the bioeconomy in the EU through investments, tackling global environmental challenges, and helping investors increase their returns.

We designed the company's logo and website, creating a user-friendly and modern interface that effectively introduces users to both the company and the platform.

Particular attention was given to the interface design. We developed a highly detailed screen prototype, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of the project at all stages. We then created a design system featuring variable interface components, font, and color libraries. This helped us maintain a cohesive style throughout the prototyping process, significantly accelerating the overall workflow.

Finding the right yacht for your holiday has always been a difficult task. That's why our client had the idea to create a project, namely a website for comparing yacht charter prices, where customers can simply enter their parameters and get all the information they need from numerous sources. That's how he came up with Boatscribe, an effective price aggregator for renting catamarans, motor boats, and yachts, and decided to entrust us with the web development of this project.

  Client

Boatscribe team set out to create a unique startup price aggregator for boat charter services, online agents, and yacht charter companies in one place. The concept of this project was unique not only in Europe, but also globally, making it one of a kind in the yacht charter markets.

Our client’s mission was to collect information on yacht availability from various sources and make this information available to all users so that they could see a large number of online yachts and boat charter prices on one platform.

  Task

Our team was tasked with developing a startup price aggregator for boat, catamaran, motorboat and yacht hire. We wanted to help our client collect all available yacht charter offers in one place, allowing users to compare prices and choose the most relevant offer for them.

Thus, we were tasked with creating the best price comparison aggregator in the boat and yacht rental market.

  Solution

The decision was made to create a user-friendly online platform that allows users to obtain complete information about yachts and boats from various websites and sellers, compare prices, and present the final results of their analysis. This approach greatly simplifies the search, as it eliminates the need to open numerous web pages at the same time.

Boatscribe is a unique product in the boat rental market, as there is currently no other platform that brings together multiple suppliers and collects comprehensive information for the end customer. The platform’s system has already analysed more than 35,000 offers and has developed the ability to target and combine them according to individual user preferences.

  Process

Work on the project began with a detailed technical specification, after which we held a brainstorming session with the client. Then Solar Digital started looking for ideas for this project.

After analyzing the market and putting everything together, the team moved on to the first stage — design. Interestingly, it was adopted from the first iteration, as we had experience working with the yacht charter company Sailica, which helped us implement all the best practices we had used before. Two specialists took part in the design development — a UI/UX designer and an art director.

Further development was carried out using the Agile methodology in sprints with constant communication with the client. During the development process, all functionalities were tested. The project was created using Laravel and Vue. js technologies. In addition, we used

• interaction with the Rest API system
• Doctrine 2 object-relational projector
• mysql 5.7 database
• ElasticSearch 7.9 offers storage system
• Redis 5 data storage server
• PHP 8.1 language.

This list was developed at the request of the client, which allows us to solve all business problems. We also implemented several integrations to import the necessary data from various sources. Backend and frontend specialists worked on the development. A quality control engineer and a project manager joined the process from time to time.

Such a complex project was implemented in a record three months thanks to the existing experience of our team members who were involved in previous projects.

  Result

Even though the main technical part is ready, the addition of additional features to Boatscribe is ongoing. There are also plans to expand its reach by translating it into several languages and developing a mobile app.

It is worth noting that BoatScribe is a start-up with limited resources. Using our knowledge and experience as experienced professionals in the yacht and boat rental industry, our company Solar Digital continues to advise the client. We help optimize processes by providing suggestions for improving the product itself.

      Branding for the Real Estate company GARTAL

  GARTAL is a Czech real estate company with an innovative approach to creating projects for comfortable living and environmental protection.They provide comprehensive services from property selection advice to purchase financing through GARTAL mortgages, building relationships with clients on honesty and openness.

    The challenge

  The client’s company was striving for change. In order to keep up with the times and emphasize its advantages over competitors, it needed to redesign its corporate identity.
Previously, the company had dealt with 100 other design agencies and tried 100+ concepts. Disappointed with the results, GARTAL found our portfolio and after a detailed review, they contacted us.

    Task

  Solar Digital was faced with a difficult task — to offer a solution that the client would be 100% satisfied with and that other companies could not offer.

    The process

  Our work on creating the branding began with a mood board, which helps our designers determine the general mood of the project. A mood board is essentially a set of colors, font pairs, icons, and pictures, based on which we form an idea of the future result for the team and the client.
We presented the finished moodboard to the customers, and they chose the option they liked. After that, the Solar Digital team started working to bring the idea to life.
The client chose orange as the main color, but asked us to find a more interesting shade. During the selection process, we found what he liked, and also developed and agreed on 7 additional colors, bright and close to pastel. We offered 5−6 variants of patterns, of which Gartal chose 2.
When creating the logo, Solar Digital designers focused on the company’s image. GARTAL is an active and experienced company that updates the city’s architecture. Our proposed logo, like the color, demonstrates energy and progressiveness. It is minimalistic but conveys the necessary meanings.

    The result

As part of our cooperation, we have developed a lot of things for GARTAL, including:

• a palette of corporate colors
• patterns
• branded business cards for employees
• billboard advertising in various color variations
• banners for contextual advertising
• design for posts and stories in social networks
• branded clothing
• branding for the car

During the presentation of the branding, the entire Gartal team unanimously accepted our work, supporting us with applause! They have even already presented branded merchandise as part of a promotional campaign.

EarnForex Platform is a unique digital solution for the Forex brokerage industry. Think of EarnForex Platform as a separate server that serves as a catalog of different brokers (like Clutch for Forex Brokers) where you can read the whole information on the broker: their rating, payment options, demo platforms, account currencies, currency pairs, account types and see other people’s reviews on the broker. This is a massive platform that saves huge amounts of data and is constantly updated.

We re-developed and renovated our client's website CMS, transferring to the new system more than 1500+ content pages, created a professional platform and redesigned the website.

 Premier Book Group is an American online book retail store that was looking for the best website agencies to renovate its web design. In this case study, we have developed an eCommerce web design for a book retail business.

 Client

Our client, Premiere Marketing, Inc. is a dynamic marketing and eCommerce company that specializes in serving book publishers and bestselling authors. Founded in 2003, it initially gained recognition as the leading provider of comprehensive US book tours. Over the years, PMI has expanded its operations and now manages two well-known eCommerce platforms, such as Premier Book Group.

Premier Book Group is an experienced book event, PR, communication, and distribution agency that has gained popularity all over the USA and faced the problem of scaling their business further online. Hence, our client needed a new website and was looking for a professional web design studio to create a new design for their online bookstore website. Hence, they needed to find someone to make a website.

  Challenge

Solar Digital was not the first web design agency to provide its services for this project for Premiere Marketing, Inc. Our client tried to handle this project in-house before us for the e-commerce website design, yet they were unhappy and unsatisfied with the result they got. After unsuccessful attempts, they have faced yet another challenge: a shortage in deadline and budget for the project.

The Solar Digital team and Premiere Marketing, Inc have identified the keystones of the project:

• Renovate the outdated design of this online store
• Renovate the website’s and its page structure
• Create a clear user path and level up the user experience by creating a user-friendly web design for the bookstore
• As a result, the client should get the design and HTML for it so that the client’s internal team can implement it

It was crucial for our client to meet the deadlines and optimize our cooperation as much as possible.

  Solution

Premier Book Group is our first online bookstore project. Yet, Solar Digital has extensive experience in creating eCommerce websites, commerce platforms, online shopping sites, etc. This prior knowledge has helped us come up with the best custom website design services within the shortest deadline.

When we got the project, our client had already created a landing page and several pages for their website and was trying to do the web design project in-house, but the process took too long, and the design they got has lost its relevance. Our design proposition was approved on the first iteration as the client wanted to save the project base, i. e., have a modern, clean, and minimalistic design for their online bookstore.

We have created a responsive design for this online book store for mobile and desktop versions of the website. Moreover, we have enriched clients' website structures, added extra content blocks, and created several more pages for unlimited website content and marketing activities.

As a result, Premier Book Group got a modern custom website design and layout for their online book store at optimal timing, which saved the project’s budget. Domova project is a startup in the real estate industry. It’s the only platform in Europe that brings together owners of apartments and non-residential premises of a worn or emergency building to sell the entire building to investors or construction companies jointly.

Our client’s goal was to assist owners of dilapidated properties in achieving profitable sales, revitalizing historic urban areas, and breathing new life into architectural landmarks. He is creating a unique investment tool that will change the real estate market and favor all its participants.

  Challenge

Solar Digital was tasked with creating branding and a web platform for a unique product in its niche that would combine simplicity with functionality and inspire trust. Our client wanted the site to have a dark and light theme, contain unique graphic elements, and content managers could easily populate the news section.

  Solution

We created a brand identity that reflects the essence of this unique project and its mission. The logo is based on the idea of regeneration — the renewal of an uninhabitable house. We combined graphic and textual components that convey the essence of the project. The branding uses blue and light colors as indicators of trust and calmness, while cheerful orange symbolizes movement.

Then our team started to work on site development. Our solution presents a sleek and modern design, featuring a clean layout that prioritizes ease of navigation and user experience. Its sophisticated use of space and minimalist elements highlights the content effectively, while the subtle animations add a touch of interactivity without overwhelming the user. For a content management system (CMS) we chose WordPress.

  Result

The result of our efforts was a compelling branding and promotional site that effectively communicates Domova’s value proposition. Through a combination of visually striking design elements, including the logo, color scheme, typography, and illustrations, we successfully conveyed the platform’s mission of facilitating collective property sales for renovation purposes.

Moreover, by highlighting the benefits for all stakeholders — involved owners, construction companies, investors, and the state — our website design underscores Domova’s role as a catalyst for revitalizing aging housing stock. Overall, the branding and promotional site positions Domova as a pioneering solution in the real estate industry, poised to drive positive change and transformation within communities.

Lyuk Media is an independent Kharkiv-based online publication for progressive and creative young people interested in the city's cultural news. You won't see any advertising or jaundiced headlines on the site. Only interesting stories and news are written by editors or readers. The online media site needed to be updated and add certain functionalities, which is why our clients contacted us.

  Client

Lyuk Media introduces Kharkiv residents to the culture of their city, covers urban processes and problems, and stimulates changes in society by bringing together creative and caring young people in one space. This publication writes about architecture, art, corruption and raises important social issues that arise in this changing world.

The editors found us through their media partners, who recommended Solar Digital as a creative IT team with unconventional approaches to solving problems. That’s how we started working together.

  Task

The media editors approached us with the following tasks:

• redesign the website to emphasize its authenticity and independence in the online space
• add new functionality for WordPress — the ability to change the design of the home page, upload and customize banners on the site, etc.

Thus, Solar Digital had to update the design and add useful features without unnecessary overload, so that the admin panel remained simple and convenient for the editorial staff.

  Process

After a short brief with the editorial team, we got to work. In the process of updating the design, we changed fonts, developed new icons, and added a youthful vibe. If you visit the media outlet’s website, you will immediately notice that all the banners are made in a meme-graphic style, which also distinguishes Lyuk from similar publications.

The editorial team wanted to add new sections to the site — “News” and “Announcements” — and also wanted to make the main page flexible, without being tied to a specific template. Our WordPress developer helped to implement this, so that customers could swap blocks as they wished. He also made the process of uploading and configuring banners on the site convenient.

Our work was approved from the first iteration, which means that we did everything the way the clients wanted.

  Result

In 1,5 months of cooperation, the Solar Digital:

• updated the website design, adding creativity, graphic elements/icons, replaced fonts
• improved the UI/UX design of the website for the mobile version
• made the settings of each banner on the site flexible
• added 2 new sections — “News” and “Announcements”
• made the main page of the site in the format of a constructor with the ability to flexibly change its blocks and design

The final website design was created using Figma for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) and was built on the WordPress platform. The integration of the GloFox booking and accounting system ensured a seamless and efficient process for clients to manage their workouts and for coaches to manage their schedules. The final product was a user-friendly platform that met the needs of all key stakeholders and helped support the company’s expansion goals.

HIT logistics specializes in international transportation, including air, sea, and rail freight, as well as providing cargo insurance and customs clearance services. The company operates worldwide, enabling them to handle shipments to any country and offer a comprehensive range of services to meet their clients' logistical needs in the best possible way.

The main goal was to create a design that combines aesthetic satisfaction with functionality, so that every user of the website can enjoy not only its visual appeal but also its ease of use.

As a result of the work done, a single-page landing was created for the HIT logistics company, using animation and personalized icons. This website sets our client apart in the logistics services market and attracts new customers who are interested in high-quality freight transportation. 

Easy Trade is a brokerage company with Switzerland registration, that specializes in trading grains, oil seeds, and their processed end-product logistics.

We have created a single-page landing for the company Easy Trade, utilizing animations and personalized icons. This website sets our client apart in the brokerage services market and attracts new customers who are interested in high-quality products. 

Stark Research is a service that provides analytics of the shipping industry and bulk cargos in particular. The project's goal was to collect useful information about all known voyages and to build valuable analytics of the entire industry.

The platform contains detailed information on voyages. We have been working with a client for several years and had developed a simpler MVP version at the beginning of cooperation. After that, the company received feedback from the audience. On its basis, Solar Digital developed a more relevant and convenient version. The service expands by the separate iterations increasing the functionality.

Mayak (Beacon in English) is an all-Ukrainian online magazine about culture and society, which grew from a regional edition about Odesa. 

This year Mayak celebrates its 6th anniversary and it's time for a full reload: to scale the geography and to update the design. In the beginning, the SOLAR Digital team started working on re-designing the website and no one planned to change the logo. But things were getting more and more exciting, so it was hard to stop. As a result, we made a decision to update the whole design and do a complete rebranding.

Boutique Gallery exclusively offers its customers new collections of leading elite clothing brands. Expensive, modern, and stylish. Sales have been built entirely offline for many years. The world is changing, competitors are appearing, consumer habits are changing and the decision to develop an online store has become inevitable. Solar Digital was chosen as a partner in the design and front-end development of the e-commerce platform among a number of rather strong applicants.

The project was started with the Discovery Stage. We studied the structure of product categories, listened to audio recordings of consultants' communication with clients, studied the photo shoot process, analyzed examples of successful international solutions, and created a mood board. Our experience in implementing similar projects for the European market was really helpful. It is pleasant to note that the client listened to our recommendations and was open to new ideas. After several iterations, a Design Concept was chosen for further work.

Branding and corporate identity for Odesa subway.

We are very confused that there is no subway in Odesa. From time to time, the government promises to build it, but later in the distant future. Finally, the future tram line in the city has got the name “Odesa Subway”. It’s made things clear: there will be no subway in the city for a long time in the future. That’s filling us with sadness.

We began to think out how to change the situations. We’re not constructors nor architects, neither are we 3D animators — but we could make some branding. That’s how the ironic idea of ​​branding of non-existent subway grew into a serious project.

We have been creating a subway map several times in a row, and each time we rejected the scheme. One of the versions had four lines to cover the whole city but looked too chaotic. As a result, we printed the Odesa map and placed stations in the most popular places.

We invented the design of application for quick payment and travel tickets for those who don’t have time or opportunity to download the app. It made our fantasies even more realistic.

Working on the project, we suddenly realized that the light metro in Odesa could be more than just another infrastructure project. It could cause the beginning of a new era in city life. Odesa Subway can unite the main structural objects and transform the Post-Soviet city to a modern international hub from a local resort.

The idea of ​​branding for a nonexistent project has become a global project of the entire city upgrade. We know that this dream can hardly come true. But we want to shake people’s minds, to unite, to inform investors and the government that Odesa is losing its unique location, prospects, its potential. We sincerely love Odesa and wish it was great. Let’s team up and build a big project together.

The client came to us with delivery problems. He often got cold, burnt, upside down pizza made from cheap products. To change the situation, he decided to create a new pizza delivery. We deliberately made the one-page website with minimum actions and plenty of great animations and illustrations. Just a few clicks and your favourite pizza is in the basket already. We managed to achieve a 'wow' user effect. And after the launch, it simply blew up Facebook: people were sharing and reposting news about new pizzeria and unique website.

When creating a promotional concept, we paid attention to a small bold and witty copywriting. Specific phrases as 'ready to enlightenment', 'zone of influence' and others were provoking emotions in people to remember the website and come again. Another trick was a random order generator called 'Check Your Karma'. No time or desire to think about the order? Our generator will do everything for you. Just enter the number of pizzas and drinks.

Design & Development for a worldwide yacht rental service.

Sailica's mission is to solve any issues of yachtsmen with a single online platform: searching and booking a yacht in any region, a tours catalogue from proven yacht trip operators, and a blog for yachtsmen and yachting enthusiasts.

We have developed a simple and minimalistic interface after branding was ready. You need minimum clicks and actions. There are minimum required fields for a quick yacht search on the first screen of the website’s main page. Also, there are hot offers with discounts on the main page, new articles from the magazine and fast navigation to the most popular yacht destinations in the world.

The challenge was to simplify the interface. We had a big array of data and had to think hard about what information to display or hide in the simple yacht card. After launching the MVP version of the startup and starting to collect user actions data, we were regularly making changes to the yacht’s card, adding information for simple choice between more than 10,000 boats.

The designers laid themselves out to create a series of author’s icons. They are minimalist, light, follow the overall design concept and inform at the same time. Also, we’ve been thinking out an adaptive version of the site in detail and additionally developing a separate mobile application.

Kidventica — development of an integrated website for parents

Kidventica is a portal for parents where you can easily find the necessary information about child care facilities, be useful to each other, and simplify vacation and education planning for your children. The startup goal is to be the best assistant in all matters that may appear in a family with children.

The founders of the project came to SOLAR Digital with their pain. It was very difficult to find good activities for a child, proven schools of early learning or sports sections timetables. Especially when you were searching for something suitable near your home. And also with a decent rating and positive reviews from other parents. To solve this issue, Kidventica, a community of caring parents, was created.

First of all, we started to work on branding and developed a logotype. After the name and logo approval, we gathered several focus groups and bombarded parents with the questions. It was both live communication and online polls. After that, we have been analysing what was wrong with the fragmented and partially working solutions that already existed at that time. Having collected enough information, we started designing the interface and prototyping.

Branding and identity for Benoy.

Benoy is a company which provides SAP enterprise support. It also has to be mentioned that they are SAP Golden Certified Partners and at the moment of 2019 Benoy was the only SAP certified partner in Ukraine.

So they wanted to refresh their branding. Not to say that complete re-branding was their goal, but it was smth they would not mind to discuss. And so we started working on their brand identity.

This sign can be successfully combined with any image and any kind of activity that Benoy serves — it is a design code, not just a logo.
