Telexar headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka is a software product engineering and technology innovation company specializing in developing digital products for enterprises and startups worldwide. Our goal is to empower every individual and organizations with cutting edge software solutions.
My Role at Telexar includes,
• Communicating on behalf of the company with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Leading the development of the company’s short-and long-term strategy
• Creating and implementing the company's vision and mission
• Ensuring that the company maintains high social responsibility wherever it does business.
• Assessing risks and ensuring they are monitored and minimized
• Setting strategic goals and making sure they are measurable and describable.
What was the idea behind starting this organization?
We felt that most organizations are looking for high-quality, tailored-made software solutions. Also, we felt that organizations are not only looking for someone to develop them a solution and move away but someone who will stick with them as they evolve and offer technological solutions as their business needs increase. To cater to this demanding need, Telexar was born.
What is your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We at Telexar have our own in-house team of developers. SriLanka, known for its highly skilled workforce has had a significant impact on Telexar in building up a fully-fledged in-house development team, ready to cater to the ever-growing need of businesses, as well as who are capable of adapting to the new technological trends.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
Our clients help us focus more on the core of their business while allowing us to handle all the technological aspects.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive?
We cater to the travels, tourism, logistics, education, and restaurant industries. Yes, our customers are repetitive.

This purely depends on the project requirements and so it differs for each and every project.
