To cover SmartSuite’s QA needs UTOR appointed five full-time senior-level QA engineers and five part-time senior-level QA engineers. 

We created and improved test documentation, checklists, test and automated test cases, refactored and optimized the framework, and enhanced the existing test cases (using Qase). 

Results

1. 95% test scenario coverage
2. Adapted and automated more than 50% of test scenarios
3. Reduced regression testing by almost four times due to the adaptation of test scenarios
4. Created 4,000 test cases
5. Tested 100 user stories and tasks

oncyber’s team decided to implement manual and automation end-to-end testing into the development process to reduce the number of bugs.

However, the oncyber team didn’t have a QA strategy or a plan for how to implement automation and manual testing into a workflow. UTOR provided a QA audit to reveal the specifics of the existing process and adjust the strategy according to the needs and requirements of the project.

Our team created a detailed testing strategy for half a year to build a solid quality assurance process with the involvement of professional quality control engineers.

To support a team of six developers, we recommended hiring two QA engineers: one full-time manual QA to support upcoming releases and one automation QA working with the JavaScript stack. We also assigned a quality assurance mentor to oversee the testing strategy implementation.

Versational is an AI sales platform that records sales meetings, highlights important moments, and offers how to improve the sale process.

The Versational team wanted to improve the QA process for the AI platform to reduce bugs in the product.

Goals

Our team offered to provide a QA audit to explore the current QA process and create a strategy for covering all quality gaps.

We created a test strategy based on product and project specifications, defined which test types to provide and their domains, created daily task checklists, a daily checklist for debugging, and a bug regression suite to test the most critical and reoccurring bugs.

To reduce the increasing number of bugs in the production environment, we established a bug management strategy.

All information our team included in the action plan for improving the Versational QA process.

To implement the QA activities from our action plan, we assigned one full-time QA to conduct manual testing and one full-time QA with knowledge of Cypress to conduct automated testing.

Results

• Critical bugs were reduced to 30%
• Increased test coverage from 0% to 90%
• Stable releases every two weeks according to sprints 

Eataly is an online and offline marketplace with Italian foods and beverages. 

The key challenges of the project were slow releases, negative user reviews, and defects throughout the system that the features caused. 

Also, the Eataly team experienced a lack of QA resources for supporting product scaling, and as a result management and development team spent time testing.
