I was impressed by how they found ways to solve non-trivial problems!
Review Summary
What was the project name that you have worked with Varwin?
VR digitization of EdTech robotics kits
What service was provided as part of the project?
AR & VR Development
Describe your project in brief
At the first stage, the Varwin team digitized our educational robots with the maximum detail of microcircuits and moving elements. A realistic physics of the behavior of robots was worked out, and logical blocks were duplicated in the VR space for their programming in accordance with real training instances. It soon became clear to us that this went beyond the simple digitization of the educational process. We decided to jointly implement a completely new VR product in the e-learning market. The existing Varwin xRMS project was chosen as the working platform.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
Varwin provided the most realistic look and at the same time the models turned out to be as optimized as possible for use on mobile VR headsets.
Ultimately, our collaboration with Varwin didn't just help us digitize our robotics learning process - together with the team, we created an entirely
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
Our partnership with Varvin has been so productive that I have absolutely nothing to recommend to them.
They also implemented every little detail very meticulously, even what seemed insignificant to me.

What was the project name that you have worked with Varwin?
VR simulator for training Tank Stripping from Oil Sludge for a Private Oil Company
What service was provided as part of the project?
AR & VR Development
Describe your project in brief
The worker himself is in virtual reality, and the tasks reflect the details of his future work. Also, the coach monitors the process on behalf of the player on his 2D screen, and sees a table with points and individual problems of the student. There are many mechanics implemented in this project: liquid leaves stains on the ground, a shovel digs sand and can bury oil stains. The bucket fills with liquid when pressure is released. All this impresses with its realism. Inside the simulator, the capabilities of a tablet are implemented - this can be used in two modes: photo fixation of a violation and a list of tasks.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
{"1":"I received weekly progress reports. We communicated in a way that was convenient for me: sometimes we talked on the phone, sometimes we used Zoom. ","2":"I was delighted with how the team approached non-routine problems such as fluid behavior in a simulator. ","3":"They are really very hardworking and careing in their development."}
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
{"1":"I think Varwin should get into advertising and marketing since you can only find them through word of mouth right now."}
We are grateful to the Varwin developers for finding an effective solution to our problem

What was the project name that you have worked with Varwin?
VR forklift simulator for a logistics company
What service was provided as part of the project?
AR & VR Development
Describe your project in brief
Varwin team created a demo version of the project, in which an employee can practice the mechanics of working on a forklift. According to the scenario, a person finds himself in the cabin of a reach truck in a warehouse, adjusts the steering wheel and pedals in height so that it is comfortable to work, and carries out the movement of goods. As a complication, obstacles may appear along the route, which must be correctly bypassed, according to safety regulations.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
{"1":"Varwin rendered the forklift and completely transferred the control to the in-game steering wheel for PS4. ","2":" Cargoes have real behavior and physics, for example, a box can fall if you put it crookedly. "}
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
{"1":"I hope that the team will continue to develop the VR direction and be on the cutting edge of technology."}
Perhaps this is one of the most knowledgeable teams in VR simulators.

What was the project name that you have worked with Varwin?
VR project for training probationers in a large private bank
What service was provided as part of the project?
AR & VR Development
Describe your project in brief
The VR pilot is a novel of sorts: the trainee puts on a helmet and immerses himself in communication with a virtual client. For example, a client wants to get a credit card, and the task of an employee is to properly build a dialogue. This is not an ordinary test where you need to select an option with one click: the trainee monitors the reaction of the interlocutor and pronounces phrases. When communicating with a client, there are a lot of long formulations, it is not always possible to answer in one word. Trainees must memorize all the phrases and use them skillfully.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
What seems to be VR development for learning, Varwin impresses with the amount of experience.
Perhaps this is one of the most knowledgeable teams in VR simulators.
We were always in touch with our project manager and knew all the relevant information about the development process.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
Maybe Varwin should increase the number of developers. Although we had no problems with deadlines and our project was completed in less than 3 months
We were impressed by the capabilities of the Varwin tool - we can independently change the content inside the VR training thanks to this.

What was the project name that you have worked with Varwin?
VR simulator for safety training at a metallurgical factory
What service was provided as part of the project?
AR & VR Development
Describe your project in brief
The purpose of using the VR simulator is to teach factory employees to evaluate the workspace and to notice various kinds of violations. The task of employees is to go through the virtual locations of the factory with a tablet and take pictures of all violations. The Varwin team digitized and 3D modeled the seven workshops of the factory so a worker could move around them in VR and see everything as in reality. We wrote a scenario of violations, such as garbage, unnecessary objects in dangerous areas, violation of technical processes, etc. The training allows us to check even the correct equipment of a production employee drawn as an avatar.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
Our team includes a project manager, three developers and two designers.
During business hours we Skype and chat on Slack, Trello is our tool for tracking progress.
We were impressed by the capabilities of the Varwin tool - we can independently change the content inside the VR training thanks to this.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
I have nothing to say about the improvements, as my experience with the team was pleasant and productive.
We were deeply impressed that the team took the time to study the blueprints and archival photographs

What was the project name that you have worked with Varwin?
Underwater mission in VR for the Museum of the World Ocean
What service was provided as part of the project?
AR & VR Development
Describe your project in brief
An underwater mission in VR takes the player about five minutes: during this time, he has time to read and listen to the task, find the object of study, swim up to it, study and photograph - and all this on board a uniquely digitized deep-sea vehicle. The project has become truly interactive, as visitors can not only see a deep-sea submersible, but also become its pilot by diving into the depths of the ocean in virtual reality. The project combines educational and entertainment functions: we put virtual reality glasses on the user, and he immediately gets into the cockpit of the submarine, where he can view it from the inside and solve several problems of searching for deep-sea inhabitants and artifacts.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
We spent a lot of time together discussing the details of the project and working on archive materials.
Our Museum of the World Ocean now features a unique interactive exhibit thanks to the commitment and expertise of the Varvin team.
It is hugely popular with visitors and recreated in VR with scientific accuracy.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
I can't think of anything, so the team is probably at its best right now.
It was really nice and easy to communicate with the team and the speed of their development is really impressive!

Game VR quest for the telecommunications company at a tradeshow
What service was provided as part of the project?
AR & VR Development
Describe your project in brief
The HR department of our telecommunications company organizes exhibitions at various trade fairs. Their goal is to acquaint exhibitors with the company and to interest them for further employment. Our HR specialists decided to order a VR game project for use at exhibitions for a more exciting dating process. The goal is to acquaint the participants with our innovative directions, to evoke emotions, to be remembered with the help of game mechanics and an interactive scenario.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
Our quest team consisted of a project manager and a number of developers.
It was really nice and easy to communicate with the team as they didn't use complex technical terms for non-technical users like us.
The speed of their development is really impressive! It took only a couple of months from project evaluation to the first working sample.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
Perhaps our project was a bit of a mess due to the tight deadlines we ourselves gave the team.
I would advise the team to be more strict with creative teams like ours.
