Working with Eugene, Vitaly, and team on FemSMS has been one of the most meaningful collaborations in Footage’s history. After our initial prototyping phase, their team took responsibility for building the mobile MVP, turning our human-centered design sessions with women and marginalized communities in/from Ukraine and participatory insights into a real, usable product! Every step, from feature prioritization and development to preparing for beta launch, was handled with technical expertise coupled with clear coordination, GENEROSITY, and respect for our shared mission. Their communication made even complex aspects of the process understandable and empowering. Despite the challenges of crisis and remote collaboration, they remained gracious, responsive, and fully aligned with the values of those we serve. The result is an emotionally safe, intuitive mobile app that is now in beta and ready for reviews -a true labor of love, and a partnership marked by professionalism, heart, and trust.
