YMI Digital supplies the technical depth a business does not have — as the engineering function itself, or as the builder beside a technical leader whose hands are already full. The clearest pattern across our engagements: businesses whose product isn't software, but whose growth now depends on it.

YMI Digital LLC is a Texas entity, founded 2026 and registered in Austin. That date undersells the practice: the founder and his core collaborator met at Anki in 2016 and have shipped together since, through a run of contract and partnership engagements before the company existed on paper. The delivery core works from Austin, TX and Eastern Europe; Austin mornings are Eastern Europe afternoons, so the working day overlaps by design.

Engagements run small and senior — one to four engineers, the same named people from first commit to production, never an account layer between the person deciding and the person writing the code. A focused first engagement, usually 4 to 16 weeks, lets a client judge the work on something real before committing to more; most clients then keep the team for ongoing product work or a fractional CTO seat. Full IP transfer and an NDA are standard on every engagement. There is no public pricing; a written estimate follows the discovery call.

Four lanes of work: Build (zero-to-one product engineering), Scale (performance, reliability, and architecture for products already live), Lead (fractional technical leadership, running on live engagements at ArmedStrong and OO Well), and AI (shipped behind an eval, a kill switch, and a spend cap where it earns its place; deterministic where auditability is the point). OO Well moved a health practice onto software it didn't have in four months. Boost has run for two years and is still going.
