What Users Like The Most

  • What I love most about ARI is how user-friendly and customizable it is. Whether I’m logging parts, tracking labor, or managing payments, everything is seamless. The integrated features, like digital inspections and customer reminders, help me provide top-notch service while keeping my clients informed.
  • It's easy and simple to use, essential for all workshop staff. The response rate to a question or a problem is speedy and effective. Signing up for the monthly subscription was right, as they constantly upgraded the features. They also take feedback seriously and try incorporating it where it makes sense.
  • The software is user friendly. Easy to navigate. The clock in feature and vin decoder are amazing but what I really love is the online payment option and the fact that a client can electronically sign estimates is great.

What Users Like The Least

  • I wish I could link Identifix like you can prodemand I wish I could link payment options like zelle and venmo
  • I haven't found anything i dislike yet, as every time I complain about something or need help, they deal with it instantly.
  • To be honest. There isn’t anything I dislike about it. I’ve used other shop management systems in the past but I truly enjoy this platform and that’s why I stay a subscriber

It solves three huge issues- 1. it provides each customer with a clear and easily understandable estimate and invoice 2. it provides our staff with a clear picture of what each car needs 3. The information in ARI is transferable to similar estimates, saving us dozens of hours each week.

What do you like the most about ARI?

ARI allows me to give my customers and my staff a clear picture of what each car needs to be excellent. It has saved me countless hourds with its easy to use inventory and estimating system. it also alleviates the pressure of communicating with each customer about details i can easily incorporate into each estimate.

What do you like the least about ARI?

Not much...referring to models without a superlative in their model subtype as "base" when you are working on a Mercedes S600 or similar expensive car would be nice. I also wish the program was compliant with Florida's right to an estimate law. i have bene told it does not meet the state's criteria, so I have to get each customer to sign a form that the state of Florida requires.

"Ari Experience"

They need a step buy step manual on how to use the features. i have searched for help and also asked for help learning all the features. I think it will be amazing once I know how to work the features right. I have taught myself most of the features i know there is more you can do. They need a guide with steps to use it, not a guide that explains the feature. That does me no good. Videos that have no audio are pointless. Also i do a bunch of restorations so i have invoices and payment that wont count toward my monthly expenses till the restoration is done there is no way to track them without it counting toward the current expenses

Invoicing is a big part of my business. I love how it saves the part, so we don't have to keep tying it repeatedly. It saves me a lot of time

I do not like the fact that if you type in a part that doesn't have a part # it automatically changes it to the part it recognizes yes and a manual or guide in pdf form on how to work the program step by step

This software totally changed how our shop operated. Before, we were using multiple systems for different functions, which made it difficult to get an overall view of what was going on. Now, no more Mitchell for SMS, AutoVitals for DVIs, plus CRM software and manually picking through the numbers for KPIs. ARI does it all, through its own built-in features and reports, as well as integrations with other programs. Canned jobs and smart jobs have greatly streamlined the service advisors' work

What do you like the least about ARI?

The entire system is online and cloud-based. The benefit is that you can access your shop from anywhere with any device, but also means that you must have a strong internet connection, and you could be affected if ARI has a problem/outage on their end.

Great experience, it gives you what to test first which cuts down diagnostic time. and it gives great wiring diagrams and factory info.Some people try to use the information as a magic bullet to solve a diagnostic problem because they lack knowledge and real-world experience. ARI is not meant to be a crystal ball, just another tool to get the job done.

Wonderful Service

Communication! Customers LOVE that we are able to communicate easily and quickly! Before having ARI it was difficult to keep track of all of our messages to our customers. Now it's simple! Inventory! I had trouble keeping track of all of our parts/fluids/chemicals and ARI shows me exactly how many I have and even lets me know when I'm getting low so I can order more! Efficiency! We are a small family shop with only a few workers so maximizing and managing our time is extremely important to our profits! With ARI analytics I'm able to see where and on what services we are losing money, where we are undercharging, and so much more. We wouldn't still be in business if it wasn't for ARI

The ease of use and simplicity of the app are two of the reasons why I LOVE ARI! It is so easy to communicate with our customers also and they love being able to text us when they need to schedule an appointment or have any questions about their repair/estimate. There are so many aspects of the business that ARI covers - from inventory (where you can reorder at the click of a button), to shop/tech/service performance & efficiency, to time log tracking, and so many more.

What do you like the least about ARI?

So far I have not found ANYTHING wrong with ARI! Anytime I need help remembering how to do certain things that I've forgotten I just contact the ARI help window and someone is there to help me within seconds! We were worried about internet outages affecting our ability to use ARI but we've found that if our internet at the shop goes out I can easily link to a hotspot or personal data to keep things flowing seemlessly. So, in reality, there are no issues or problems with ARI

We have experienced issues with ARI inventory engine where it pulls items from our stock, when building an estimate. This has caused us to migrate to an alternative platform for processing of sales orders, purchase orders and inventory logistics.

I have used other shop management software and have found ARI to be the best. It integrates technicians, service advisors, parts ordering and customer communications seamlessly. It is accessible through the web and therefore can be accessed off site which is a huge bonus.

A great no fuss solution to shop management software

Organizational skills. We are a small shop that was using mid-20th-century tech to keep up with parts and customers. Now we are 100% digital. I've really loved being able to keep a closer eye on the inventory and the shop supply usage. I plan on using the customer database to do a mass mailing later on this year.

"The Most Feature-Rich Shop Management System That's Also the Easiest to Learn."

The planet is truly benefiting from ARI! We have shifted to Shop-Ware and are now almost entirely paperless. These days, we can use a desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone for anything we need. We no longer have to worry about arranging technicians' paper work orders because we can now "click and drag" to quickly reorganize tasks.

Every time a new update is made, it seems like some functions cease functioning or the system crashes the next day. This has been really annoying!

It covers the operational side brilliantly but from a business development lens, I’d love to see more native integrations or even Zapier-style flexibility to sync customer data with external systems like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or social ad platforms.
