Bullhorn Reviews
Bullhorn\'s JobScience - a very good ATS
Review Summary
I use JobScience, which is one of Bullhorn's SalesForce based ATS offerings, and it is the best ATSs I have used. I have used 6 different ones in my career, and have tried / demoed countless others. The customizations allowed by JobScience are remarkable, and one can make it work exactly as one wants. The tracking and CRM components are every bit as strong as one would expect from a SalesForce based product. The only thing that is a little weak (and honestly is weak in every ATS) is the ability to search the candidate database. And that is not bad - it's probably better than 90% of the ATSs I have seen, and tied for the best of the ones with which I have worked. I can enthusiastically recommend JobScience by Bullhorn for any staffing agency.
Clunky but gets the job done
Review Summary
The S Version is clunky not very automated but is a decent basic CRM
Bullhorn is fine, until you need to talk to customer service
Review Summary
Bullhorn, for the most part works fine as long as it's "Out of the Box" functionality is enough for you. When you need any advanced training as an administrator to be able to take advantage of a lot of its more powerful customization options, you had better be a professional systems Developer. Because they do not do a good job at all of assisting customers with implementation that isn't, as I said, "out of the Box". The biggest problem that we ran into so far was that bulk emailing customers and/or candidates out of the database (common practice for almost any recruitment firm) sends all emails to multiple people as a BCC instead of sending a separate email to each recipient. This will absolutely trash your sender reputation with various email providers and ISP's and most of your mail is very likely to start ending up in spam folders. So if you use Bullhorn, you must also be ready to spring for a 3rd party marketing platform like Hubspot or Mailgun or something.
Great CRM for the Recruiting Industry
