Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Clientjoy is a Sales CRM and Growth Engine helping over 3100+ Agencies and Freelancers from all across 90+ countries manage their Leads, Proposals, Clients, Invoices, and Payments in one single place. Clientjoy has been a CNBC TV 18 Young Turk and has received many awards including Tech 30 by YourStory and Hot 100 awards by CIO-Choice.

I am Yash Shah, CEO, and Co-founder at Clientjoy. My role within the organization includes anything and everything from financial planning to competitive strategies, hiring employees, implementation of the proposal plans, building potential relationships with the investors, and establishing a good working culture.

The team at Clientjoy starts with the customer and works backward. We work vigorously to earn and keep customers’ trust; pay attention to competitors, but keep obsessing over customers’ needs and wants. We are the most materially endowed, technologically literate, formally educated, and globally connected generation.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
The primary objective behind building Clientjoy is to provide the benefit of various functionalities like managing Leads, Proposals, Clients, Invoicing and Revenues under a single roof.

After doing extensive research on our target audience which are Small Agencies that are smaller than 20 people and Freelancers, we realized that they use multiple software for managing their client lifecycle which proved to be cumbersome and expensive.

By building Clientjoy, we aim to provide a smooth and structured process for Small Agencies and Freelancers to manage their complete client lifecycle management under one roof at an affordable price.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
Being a low-ticket vertical SaaS product, Clientjoy provides the benefit of using various functionalities like managing Leads, Proposals, Clients, Invoicing, and Revenues under one roof at affordable pricing.

After doing a thorough analysis of our horizontal and vertical competitors, we are able to conclude that most of our horizontal competitors (rivalry to gain customer preference among entities at the same level) are relatively priced with a higher margin and the vertical competitors (who specialize in providing one functionality) are more or less priced equally or more, Clientjoy proving an array of functionalities at the same value.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
Our Primary Market to which we cater is the Small Agencies. The Verticals under that are Design and Consulting Verticals, Digital Marketing, and IT-Services. The size of those agencies is smaller than 20 people. The locations to whom we cater are the developed economies with English as their Business language.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
Clientjoy provides features like Custom Style in Client Portal, Merge Fields, Split Invoice Payments, Custom Templates, Multiple Currencies Support, Custom Branding, and many more which helps it to stand apart from the competitor products in the market.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
To make customers satisfied and fulfill their needs by using Clientjoy is very important. Customers can only be satisfied if Clientjoy is helping them solve their business purpose. Customer satisfaction rate helps us understand how satisfied our customers are by using our product and what are the steps we need to take. It helps us understand where we are going wrong and what are the next possible steps which we need to take.

We also ask our customers to share their feedback with us when we release a new feature or while communicating with them over a call or chat. Feedback forms help to understand more about our customer’s needs. Also when our customers suggest some new feature, we do keep them in our record and try our best to implement in Clientjoy.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
Yes, our customers are repetitive. They are termed to be Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) users. 100% of our customers are MRR users i.e. they are repetitive customers.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
Yes, we do have a knowledge base that we have made available for our customers. This knowledge base makes the onboarding process smooth for our customers.

We have also made help articles and videos available for our customers. We have tried to explain all the steps that they need to take if they are stuck while using any feature available in Clientjoy. This makes it easy for them to resolve the problem then and there before losing much of their time to wait and get an answer for it.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We provide our customers with a support chat option available in Clientjoy to reach out to us if they need any help or have any questions. As mentioned earlier, we also provide them with a knowledge base to which they can refer. Also, if our customer is online at that point in time, we propose they connect on a call so that we could help them understand their issues and help them get resolved.

If the issue is technical and which needs some time to be fixed, then we raise a ticket for that issue and share it with our technical experts who then get it fixed. Once the issue is fixed from our end, we communicate it with our customers and get it confirmed.
