Please introduce your product and briefly describe your role within the organization.
I am Abhishek Agrawal, CMO of Design’N’Buy. My experience working with print service providers from all verticals in the past decade or so has bolstered my business acumen and made my management capabilities more efficient.
Backed by a strong tech background, I play a key role in defining the roadmap for all company innovations at Design’N’Buy.
All-In-One Web2Print (AIOW2P) is Design’N’Buy’s proprietary web2print solution. From t-shirts, mugs, mobile cases, and bags to flyers, photo products, business cards, and signage, you can sell print-ready customizable items on your website by deploying the solution.
Besides AIOW2P, our product portfolio comprises DesignO (an API-driven online graphic design tool), a W2P 3D product configurator solution, a digital fabric design web2print solution, and a packaging design solution.
What was the objective behind coming up with the flagship software?
So, when we launched Design’N’Buy in 2009, it was more of an eCommerce solutions provider. Sometime later, one of our clients asked us if we could develop a plugin that enabled their customers to customize merchandise and place a print order on their site.
We were curious and amazed. It was a good challenge! Because our client had an existing internal printing process, the web-to-print software technology would only empower them to sell various customizable products. The client had straightforward logistics, which could oversee the completion of print jobs.
And that is how we conceived the idea of our proprietary offering, the All-In-One Web2Print (AIOW2P) software solution. Based on the plugin, we further improved the technology and brought it to the shape it is known today.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
Design’N’Buy always has had a pulse on the market demand and consumer preferences. We follow a stellar people-centric marketing strategy.
Speaking to printers, influencers, thought leaders, and even our in-house marketing team daily is essential for us to plan the growth map of our software.
We also conduct periodic customer surveys to understand how they feel about using our solutions. We pivot and adapt really fast to accommodate changing behaviors.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries, in general, are highly benefiting from using your software?
We cater to almost all industries you can possibly think of! Real estate, franchises, marketing agencies, interior design, technology, retail - you name it.
Due to our impeccable services, we now have a large pool of loyal customers that come back to work with us on new projects year after year.

We have made it a point to build extremely close and warm relations with all our clients. If something is bothering them about using our service, we should know about it asap. Their happiness is our priority.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
Yes! Due to our impeccable services, we now have a large pool of loyal customers who come back to work with us on new projects year after year. The percentage of repeat customers would fall between 50% and 60%.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is delivered to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
We take pride in the marketing material we prepare for our end-users. Our blog comprises lots of content on how web2print can help them make a difference to their intended audience. Our eBooks and guides are also very popular amongst our target audience and existing customers.
We also conduct periodic webinars, especially when we roll out a new version of the software or introduce a new feature. This helps the customers to ask questions to us directly. We have a “featured videos” section on the site along with a thriving YouTube channel.

What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We are there to offer our customers 24*7 support. Our after-sales service is brilliant. Ask any customer of ours, and they will tell you. We are very prompt in responding to queries and offer support in various local languages.
The support staff works closely with our product engineers to find a resolution to the customer’s problem at the earliest. At the end of the day, we want our customers to rejoice!
Where do you see your product in the next ten years?
The opportunities that the web-to-print solution offers are unlimited. The word “web-to-print” is limiting. Now is the time for “web-to-any.” That is what we are going to focus on this year. We will always keep working on our product and make sure it grows and evolves by leaps and bounds. We want to automate as much as possible for our clients - regardless of their industry niche, product inclination, and geography.
