Please introduce your product and give a brief about your role within the organization.
eLink Pro is an automated software solution, built to operate as a Chrome extension, that helps people expand their Linkedin network and grow leads. It solves the problem of spending hours each day working through prospective profiles on Linkedin for the sake of connecting and building repour. As head of the business, my role is to make sure our product adds value to our growing customer base while working with the product and dev team to innovate eLink Pro and its feature set.
What was the objective behind coming up with this software?
Linkedin is a great source of potential business leads but it’s built in such a way that you need to spend hours each day connecting and viewing profiles while you carefully curate and grow your network. Those are hours that most of us don’t have to spare which means we struggle to unlock the opportunity. eLink-Pro was one of the first solutions to offer a solution of automating this human behaviour.
How is your software beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other software alternatives available in the market?
The combination of our unique method of automation, which has been refined over many years and thousands of customers, plus our customer support, differentiates us. We’ve worked with small clients right through to large agencies with hundreds of Linkedin profiles to accumulate some of the richest and deepest insight into Linkedin automation and we share that with our clients through our tech.
What industries do you generally cater to? Which industries in general are highly benefiting by using your software?
We find our customers come more from specific vertical functions as opposed to industries. For example, many of our users are in Sales & Marketing from a variety of industries. That said around 30% of our customer base is from media and marketing. The product is more about the person and what they want to achieve than the industry so we can help a CEO in manufacturing build his professional network on Linkedin or we can help a Sales Manager in SaaS find prospects.
What are the key features of your software that makes it stand apart from your competitor products in the market?
We have a unique method of getting reciprocal activity which leads to inbound connections as opposed to only outbound. Our viewing algorithm is unique in ensuring accounts aren’t flagged by Linkedin, which is a big risk to Linkedin users. We also don’t ask our customers for their Linkedin login details which is a big risk as it allows some operators to perform Linkedin tasks without you being aware. All activity in eLink happens on the desktop and only once the user has logged into Linkedin, outside of our app.
What is the customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We believe our customers are satisfied because we offer quick turnaround times for support, assist with live chats, and even calls that include training and screen shares. On the odd occasion where there is a genuine issue, we have our dev team get involved and quickly turn around a solution. Working inside the Linkedin eco-system is complex with daily changes and requires a team who works in this space every day.
Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what is the percentage of repeat customers that you have?
Yes, they are. It’s tough to express the exact percentage but we’ve got customers that have been with us for the first day we started and remain with us. Others may stop using eLink because they are not able to service the volume of leads and interactions and have to turn it off for a while, but they generally return after working through the leads.
Does your software product provide any resource or knowledge section for its users? If yes, what kind of material is provided to your users to help them get acquainted with your product?
We have a full video library for users to better understand and use the software.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
We offer email support which is manned 12 hours a day to manage various time zones. If we cannot resolve issues by email we schedule calls to share screens and work with customers 1:1
Where do you see your product in the next 10 years?
We have to stay aligned to Linkedin and their product roadmap so we’ll continue doing that because that’s what our customers love about us. We’re working on augmenting the network and leadership experience on Linkedin and we’re looking to improve the speed at which our customers can extract quality data or initiate connections. We know that whatever the current timeframes are now, the demand will always be to improve on those. Some of our competitors have worked on building their own CRM-style solutions alongside this but we believe that Linkedin is already in that space with Sale Navigator, to some extent. What we’d like to imagine is a world in which a customer can simply say ‘find me contacts or leads in pharma in California and build my network with them’ and eLink Pro handles the rest.
