Acquiscent Technologies Pvt Ltd is a software and app development company and works with several different technologies. May it be emerging or ubiquitous technology, we serve in various sectors and deliver as per the customer's requirements. From the development of mobile apps to business software development, Artificial Intelligence to IoT projects, our focus is to provide innovative solutions along with measurable business outcomes.
As a CEO, there is no formal list of my significant responsibilities and functions as such. I oversee all the aspects related to business management as well as product and service delivery. I also take charge of the organization's operations and the technological part, along with participation in client acquisition. I also prefer to work alongside my team, and the results of our dedicated effort are quite evident. Over the years, we have been appreciated by our clients and, today, we are regarded as a highly trusted IT service provider. This year has started on a special note as we made it to the list of Clutch's 2020 research list of Top Developers in India.
My prime focus is on the customer requirements and making sure that as a team, we render them quality-centric work in the minimum possible time.

What was the idea behind starting this organization?
Acquiscent was established in 2014, with a side hustle. What started as freelance assistance, soon developed into a full-fledged project. The majority of the projects in the initial days were based on reference. It was a sign that we are doing something worthwhile.
As we have grown as an organization, we have not restricted ourselves to a particular technology stack over the years. We have catered to projects on Windows, Web, Mobile, Cloud, IoT, and AI with expertise in application development.
From financial applications for budget management to working for the aircraft industry, we have come a long way. We have a data-driven model of operational excellence and a sharp focus on using new-age IT technologies. We value our commitment to the clients, and continuously strive for innovation and excellence by the rapid adoption of new ideas and techniques.

We have a dynamic in-house team with 30 domain experts and professionals. Our team members are continually striving to improve their knowledge and skills with the objective of personal progress as well as client satisfaction.
How is your business model beneficial from a value addition perspective to the clients compared to other companies' models?
At Acquiscent, we want to design and develop solutions that can add to our client's growth. We discuss every aspect of the design, develop, and deliver as per the client's need. Our USP has been focusing on the clients and making sure we prioritize delivering the current project instead of trying to get the next client onboard. We deliver projects on time and primarily focus on customer satisfaction without any compromise on the project quality at any stage. This, in turn, has given us an excellent reputation and helped us achieve milestones. Also, since we have all the experts in-house and none of the work is outsourced, the quality and work-efficiency are top-notch.

The industries we primarily deal with are related to finance, health, and insurance. We also cater to a wide range of emerging technologies, including Cloud Computing, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Machine Learning. We have a 360-degree approach towards IT services like Web, Mobile Development, Data Analytics, Software development, and testing. Also, our services are not bound to a specific platform since we have expanded our reach to all platforms, including Windows, Web, Mobile, Cloud, IoT, and AI.

There are various parameters that we consider before we select the right app framework. Here too, understanding the exact requirements for a project is vital. Concept proofing, target audience, and platform need to be taken into consideration. And the essential aspect is data. From the data structure to what needs to be shown, how the information is to be stored, what will be the speed and scalability of the app, and who will have access to the data, all these aspects need to be considered. We also check the sensitivity of user data as safety and security of data is another parameter that is very important while creating any application.

Which framework do you suggest your clients go for when they approach you with an idea? Why?
For Mobile apps, we generally suggest the Model View Controller (MVC), and the Model View Presenter (MVP) framework. MVP is easy to manage for developers and the users as it is secure and functional.
For web services, we suggest Microservices as deployment is easier; breakage in one module does not affect the other module. We provide frameworks with relevant information and ensure the best practices for application development. Also, such structures are focused, manageable, and simplify the complicated codes.

Android or iOS— which framework is best to use to build your app design? What are your recommendations?
For us, Android and iOS, we use their API frameworks to create fantastic results for our clients. MVP framework works for both the operating system. We recommend Xamarin, a development tool, as well as Flutter. Xamarin allows building iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile Applications by using the same programming language C# and .NET. It is open-source, builds innovative applications, and provides cross-platform functionality. Flutter, on the other hand, allows us to reduce the Code Development Time and helps us build outstanding and high-performance applications that fit into the client's needs.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of mobile app design?
The key factors we take into consideration any cost-related discussions are the various features to be incorporated into the app. The other factors that assist in deciding the app development cost are database-related services, the operating system or platform, the server costs, user authentication, competitive assessment, wireframing, UI/UX and visual design, and the integration with various methods.
We also take into consideration the budget by the client and the technological aspect. The number of resources involved from the team, along with the time, is also taken into discussion. We also consider external services and third-party involvement in the same. For instance, if we need a different cloud service or an external hardware setup or device. We also need to consider the in-depth research and analysis, prototyping, along with the visual designs.

What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions, etc.)
We generally prefer Pay per milestone. We can discuss and start multiple milestones and finish it within the stipulated period. The client then goes ahead with the payment post for each sign.
Do you take in projects which meet your essential budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
I usually work for a minimum budget requirement, which is the critical factor for any service industry. The minimum requirement we worked with was $5000 for simple app development.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2019?
The minimum price range we have catered to is $6200, and the maximum that we can disclose is $120,000. We have worked with higher ticket projects, but we cannot disclose the price due to the non-disclosure agreement with the client.
