The Client was looking for a vendor to modernize their library management system product by migrating it to updated technologies and enhancing its functionality with new, customized features. Their goal was to transform the system of learning resource lists into a comprehensive solution for students and academics, allowing users to efficiently organize and manage various types of content while gaining valuable insights through analytics to improve performance.

The original product was developed in Perl, which significantly hampered development speed and hindered the implementation of updates. Moreover, as the project was part of the Client’s educational product line, it was crucial to use .Net as the main programming language. The Client had also encountered a negative experience with a previous vendor, so Aristek team had the additional challenge of addressing any potential concerns or objections.

Due to our efforts, the product represents a flexible and dynamic system for all-in-one content management, including analytics dashboards and options for integrating third-party software.

It has empowered the company to expand into the international market and achieve remarkable business growth. The enhanced functionality of the product now aligns with a greater number of Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, resulting in a significant increase in the client base. As a result, the company’s workforce has doubled, and exciting plans are underway for introducing new products tailored to the educational market.

The Client was looking for a vendor to develop maintenance schedule management software for logistics companies. This program was supposed to help the logistics company maintain information about the condition of vehicles, as well as monitor and manage service maintenance. Well-timed data processing and a perfectly tuned alert system are to form the basis of the product. Besides, the product should be convenient for all users involved in the fleet management process, whether a driver, manager, logistician, or agent of an insurance company. One more task for Aristek was to overcome previous negative experiences from the Client’s side regarding collaboration with another vendor.

Aristek Systems has established close cooperation with the Client to meet the requirements, including working with the Product Owner, bi-weekly demos, and release planning activities. To make the product both user-friendly and adaptable, our team enlarged its functionality and saved the ease of use. As a result, we developed an MVP that covers several functions:

  • Maintenance Schedule to collect, store, and process all data regarding users’ vehicles to easily track the necessary maintenance steps.

  • Integration with Vehicle Devices to get live information about vehicle parameters: mileage, fuel level, etc. 

  • Admin Panel is responsible for creating and managing client accounts and also regulates user management, with restrictions on access rights and information editing. 

  • Dashboards & Reports to get visual graphics and figures and systematized data on specific requests. 

  • Work Order for setting and tracking tasks for maintenance of the fleet.

  • Integration with User's Software to allow the bulk upload function or remote API for more complex integrations. 

  • Location & Geofence Maps to display the current location of transport through Google-map integration.

The Client aimed to create a learning platform for dental practices that combines person-centered care with innovative software solutions. The platform’s goal is to enhance the efficiency of dental clinics by gathering and processing client feedback and providing recommendations based on the collected data.

The Client approached us specifically to work on the analytical part of the platform. The critical point was to meet both built-in industry standards (HIPAA) and best practices to provide detailed dashboards and surveys, guiding the clinics in their customer services.

As a result of our efforts, we successfully created and launched a functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and seamlessly integrated the system with a third-party platform. The system effectively aggregates patient feedback and presents it in a tailored dashboard accessible to providers, staff, regional managers, and other relevant parties. This custom dashboard highlights successes and identifies areas that require improvement, empowering the organization to make informed decisions and optimize performance.

Our customer wanted us to create an educational platform that would stay the connector of teachers and students, a progress tracking tool, and an educational source to a large number of schools.

The main goals, which the customer followed were:

Aristek developed a comprehensive ERP that automated all the business processes, improved employee productivity by 23%, and decreased fuel expenditure by 31%.

There were several problems that had to be addressed.

Firstly, truck routing had to be automated. It used to be done with Excel spreadsheets and the optimization was as good as the people working on it.

Secondly, there was a matter of cargo consolidation. Planning the optimal load for each truck and the optimal transportation for each load. This should also take into account the fuel expenditure and possible idle time.

Thirdly, the client needed to monitor their trucks’ position wherever they may be and receive timely updates on the status of the delivery for each load.

Finally, the exchange of information and documents between the truckers and the office needed to be sped up.

The new ERP led to improvements in almost all the areas of the customer’s business:

The Client also wanted to carve out a commercial line of the project by selling access to the database. The business creates a process whereby the company can drive many clients automatically.

SOLUTION

Aristek Systems team started working on the project by building the structure and architecture of the system, thus making it the basis of the client’s business. After rigorous analysis and research, we identified the main business processes to supply them with relevant technical solutions.

  • Order Management System to process all orders, monitor financial flows, contact vendors, transfer this information to the next system, etc.
  • Global Resource Allocation (GRA) to run automatic software installation for each school and perform a monitoring function, helping to control the system status, user organization, errors, etc.
  • Learning Platform for Teachers & Students. This part of the system consists of an authoring tool to add educational materials to the design and suites for teachers and students. It is built to provide students with the necessary materials and help them pass tests.
  • Queues Systems to normalize the server load. 
  • District Maintenance to set up teachers’ and students’ suites, integrate with external users’ loading systems and gather top-level statistics data.
  • Dashboards to show aggregated information from all systems for internal analysis.

RESULTS

The result of the project is a system that automates all business processes, from the creation of materials to the sale of a license. The development also includes a full-stack technical solution that can categorize and group all materials according to the standards of the required districts.
