Arounda Digital Product Agency was born in 2016, in the vibrant city of Odessa, under my guidance as the CEO. Crafting the company from its inception involved a meticulous quest for a name, ultimately giving birth to "Arounda" – a fusion of "around" and "a," encapsulating the essence of perpetual innovation. This name, starting and ending with the letter "a," signifies the endless, cyclical nature of our commitment to continuous development.In summary, Arounda embodies the vision of making our digital world better, encapsulating the spirit of cyclic evolution and our perpetual commitment to creating impactful digital products.

  • Challenge

    Since VOXE is a social network of the future, Arounda experts had to tackle unique challenges. We combined the best crypto design features from existing solutions with pioneering functionality to create a user-friendly MVP. Delivering complex mobile app animations was our most significant hurdle. Meanwhile, the landing page redesign demanded a keen eye for detail. We needed to ensure it harmoniously reflected VOXE’s overall style and essence.

  • Our solution

    Our primary goal was to deliver a seamless MVP. With its help, users could navigate social, economic, and entertainment tasks effortlessly within VOXE’s visionary ecosystem. We also aimed to implement those solutions through prototype Web 3.0 development. When redesigning the landing page, we strived to generate interest in the product. To achieve this goal, we suggested dynamic widgets. They synchronously changed alongside the evolving words in the hero block. We also created a unique brand style and language reflected in the landing page, MVP, and documentation.

  • The client

    Our client, Player’s Health, is a company that assists youth sports organizations and clubs. They provide a wide range of services for young athletes, including the following ones: data-driven athlete safety solutions for risk management, injury tracking, and communication, and FinTech and insurance platforms for effective control of organizations’ finances and hassle-free purchase of insurance policies.

  • Challenge

    One of the biggest challenges in the Player’s Health finance solution was simplifying a new user’s registration and onboarding process since the platform required entering a large amount of data. There was also a concern regarding the user hierarchy as this FinTech tool comprised the main organization’s account and several sub-accounts of sports clubs subordinate to it. As for the Player’s Health insurance platform, the primary challenge was determining a unified user flow for purchasing an insurance policy via the application.

  • Our solution

    Our team suggested the following solutions that achieve the finance platform’s goals: simplifying the onboarding process and establishing a user hierarchy. We have broken down the registration process into separate steps and sub-steps, allowing users to track their progress. Our experts also optimized the interaction between the main account and sub-accounts, entitling administrators and sub-administrators to track transactions, view connected credit cards, and control their account statuses. For the Player’s Health insurance platform, we delivered a streamlined user flow where the user can buy an insurance policy in just a few steps.

    MintySwap is a US-based digital marketplace for crypto collectibles and non-fungible tokens. The web application allows users to buy, sell, and discover exclusive digital assets as well as upload and create their own NFTs.

  • Challenge

    Our biggest challenge in this Web 3.0 product design case study was studying the NFT environment. So, we’ve consumed gigabytes of educational materials, researched top marketplaces, and explored NFT wallets. Moreover, our team went almost through the whole process of non-fungible token development.  In the next stage, we analyzed the market and carried out competitor research within the most popular cryptocurrency marketplaces.

  • Our solution

    Our main goal was to design a trendy web application where users can explore, import, mint NFT, and create their own NFT collections. We aimed to develop a unique solution that would fit the market of non-fungible tokens. Thus, Arounda started with detailed competitors’ research. We registered on various crypto platforms, tested their functionality, and investigated user flows. This way, we collected best practices to reimagine them in a seamless user experience for MintySwap.

  • Challenge

    The main challenge Arounda faced was integrating cryptocurrency deposit and withdrawal features into the Web3 platform. It required a meticulous approach to ensure technical viability. Creating the game interfaces posed another hurdle, as our experts should cover numerous possible states. Besides, implementing various tools like affiliate programs, VIP levels, and gamification elements such as daily and weekly bonuses added complexity to the project.

    In tackling the challenges of the crypto gambling niche, our approach centered on thorough competitor analysis.     Our client, Klasha, is a fintech company delivering cross-border payment solutions for businesses and individuals in African countries. Each financial product they offer aims to provide borderless commerce by allowing consumers and retailers to make and receive payments in their local currencies. Having covered six African countries, Klasha plans to expand its services to drive the adoption of fintech further.

  • Challenge

    When creating this fintech platform’s design, the main challenge was considering and comprehending the brand’s tone of voice and implementing the updated UI/UX following the client’s needs and vision. Arounda experts needed to recognize Klasha’s primary stakeholders’ requirements and the feelings they aimed to convey through design. Another concern was creating a UI/UX according to the user portrait described by the client.

  • Our Solution

    To achieve the goals set by the client, namely: compliance of the design with the brand’s tone of voice and the end users’ requirements, our experts created a brand book and a brand guideline.     Our main challenge was to meet the needs of four user categories: students, partners, mentors, and admins. We had to create a platform that would provide easy access to job search features, mentor matching, and event registration. Our experts also had to deliver an interface for partners (HRM specialists) to connect them with potential employees.

    In this human resource product work example, we aimed to deliver a user-friendly platform for job search and career development. To achieve this, our team suggested separating the Gradwork’s numerous functions and thoughtfully fitting them into the navigation. For example, we split the Learning page into different tabs: Academy, Courses, and Insights. As a result, users can easily explore various options. We applied this approach to each page to simplify the navigation.

    Improving the user experience while keeping the platform’s UI relatively unchanged was the main challenge during the XBlock redesign. Since this platform already had numerous users that got used to its crypto product design, our team had to tackle the UX issues without overly modifying the application’s architecture.

  • Our solution

    Our main goals were to improve the UX, deliver consistent UI design of the platform, and work with color branding of each blockchain featured on XBlock. We offered the client several solutions to enhance the user experience, slightly modified the UI, and provided a non-trivial look of all chains on the light and dark platform themes.

It allows F&B professionals to tell their stories beyond the resume and apply to the company even if it has no current openings. HR specialists spend less time and effort looking for talents as they have a list of applications at hand even before the vacancy appears. And the employee has more chances to find a company with corporate values and culture that would fit them. 

  • Challenge

    It was important to create an ecosystem of two products, interlink their functionality and maintain the common design. Moreover, QTalent for companies had to bring maximum benefit to employers. Our team aimed to include all functions necessary for the competitive product. And yet we wanted to keep the interface simple and not overload it. Another brain-teaser to mention in this HR case study was to find and implement features that would distinguish the QTalent HR platform from rivals. 

  • Our solution

    Arounda team developed a complex UX and UI design for the human resource platform in several iterations. We investigated the user flow and created a design to convey an atmosphere of friendliness and openness. The light and intuitive interface encourages recruiters and job seekers to interact with the platform. We also connected QTalent for companies with QTalent for professionals both visually and logically.

We are a new AI company founded in 2023 looking for a reliable partner to help us envision and build the UI/UX for an application using AI and blockchain concepts. This was a daunting task requiring over 100 unique screens and a considerable amount of iteration. Arounda was not only up to the task, but they also assigned one of their best to work full-time with our team teasing out the right deliverables.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Extremely happy and pleased with overall value for service, look, layout, detail, communication. The team was responsive, dedicated, and reliable to deliver on what they said they could. Their UI/UX design skills were very impressive. Modern, creative, and best in class plus they were intuitive and 'got what we wanted' without any hand-holding and minimal direction.

Social media ecosystem for creators, fans and businesses to rock. A subscription-based platform, allowing users to be as flexible as they wish and not get tied to a fixed amount, which often they can’t afford. Our platform will revolutionize the current fixed subscription model and enable users to spend more or less as they wish, and VOXE credit is the engine for this transition.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Openminded, high empathy, constant availability (sometimes even on weekends), efficiency, will to hear and care.We had a feeling that Arounda is not just a contract outsourcing team but part of our Startup Company. We had super close communication.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

In our opinion, everything was perfect. If we had any issues, they were solved the next day, literally. But, this is the normal part of the work process.

Review Summary

My business partner isn’t from a tech background, and he had never seen something like this. I had to fight to get this work done and convince him it was worth the money. Halfway through the project, I gave him some screenshots of what Arounda was producing, and then he was completely on board. He understood why we needed to make it, and it was thanks to the quality of their work. Also, what I really liked about them was that they managed to squeeze in an extra set of features that were outside of the scope we had in mind. Those two things made me very happy.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

Aside from the output, the best thing about them was their ability to work without being micromanaged. I can’t afford to be constantly sorting things out and asking questions, and they took a lot of that heavy lifting off me. On the instances where I did have to make a choice, they made it very simple.
