We designed the UI/UX for an AI-powered application in the business-services sector aimed at streamlining users’ ability to generate insights from data. The client required an interface that balances powerful AI functionality with simplicity—minimizing onboarding friction and cognitive load.

Role, Scope & Objectives

Led the full end-to-end design: user research, wireframes, high‑fidelity prototypes, and usability testing.

Objective: create a seamless, intuitive UI where non-technical users can interact with AI—upload data, run analyses, and interpret results confidently.

Constraints: tight budget ($10K–$50K) and a 3‑month timeframe for design delivery.

Process & Actions

Conducted stakeholder & user interviews to understand target personas and workflows.

Synthesized findings into clearly defined user journeys, pain points, and requirements.

Developed wireframes (low-fi → mid-fi) and iterated based on 3 rounds of moderated usability testing.

Occasionally there was slight overemphasis on growth metrics which sometimes overshadowed aesthetic refinements—small adjustments improved balance. Scheduling feedback sessions across time zones required extra coordination but didn’t impact overall delivery quality.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

Honestly, the experience was 100% positive overall. If I had to name anything, it would be the occasional scheduling challenges due to time zones which is expected with a global team. Their strong focus on growth and performance sometimes left limited space for experimental visuals, but that focus ultimately drove results.

To design a Progressive Web App (PWA) named Nabo that seamlessly integrates social networking with e-commerce functionalities, specifically catering to the needs of campers and outdoor communities.
