BizTek Connection first became a new legal entity in 2007, but we started a similar company back in 2001, under a different name and tax entity, which grew to become BizTek Connection. Our primary goal was to serve all the technology needs of small businesses owners like yourself, because we started ourselves as a small business. Looking back, what we did then was miniscule compared to the growth in technology requirement that even small businesses face today. We take pride in the fact that we understand the needs of small businesses. Not all small businesses need all the latest technologies in order function and protect their interests. We evaluate each businesses needs and tailor a solution to meet those needs.

Review Summary

When I joined my company, we were using Biztek to maintain our network needs. They monitored the local network and servers. The set up was a bit of a mess with us having to call them 1-2 times a day to restart a print server or a server in order for our system to be up and running. I came on to address the IT needs of our company. It became clear that Biztek was very capable of solving problems addressing direct needs of our company that they were not attempting to fully understand why our network was having consistent issues.

I ended up overhauling the system myself and in the process our need for Biztek became unneccessary. I have worked with other outsourced IT companies, and Biztek was capable and competent with what they were directly interacting with. I wish they had been more proactive in addressing the needs of company. After our reconstruction of our network, we went from 1-2 issues a day to 1-2 issues a month.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

They were responsive to our requests when directly asked for help. They were professional and responded quickly when something went wrong.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

They failed to investigate why there were so many consistent and systemic issues with our system.
