We’re at or above the level of web usage. We’ve met our previous goals and even increased our numbers as far as the number of people visiting our website and time on site are concerned. All of those are positive.

I’ve had a pretty long career in digital communications, and it’s always a concern to ensure that when we make changes, it’s a net positive this engagement has certainly been like that. I’ve also received positive feedback from everyone in our organization and website visitors.

Bless Web Designs helped us rethink our website; they recoded, updated, and renovated our code base into something contemporary and industry-standard. We had an old code base that wasn’t built on the Gutenberg platform, and they got us up to speed on that. They ended up creating a new website for us.

My colleague was a designer, and she worked with Bless Web Designs to create a contemporary website with far more functionality and capabilities than we had ever had. For context, we had a linear, vertical experience block, but they helped us create a hero feature on the top of our website.

During that process, they ensured we had an accessible website. They made sure that even though we offered much more dynamic and visually interesting content, it was delivered in a faster way than what we had before.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

I’ve done a number of website redesigns during my career, and what I find refreshing about Bless Web Designs is the ease of communication and their responsiveness. That’s not always typical. They give us what feels like white-glove service. They prioritize us, and it feels like we’re their only client, even though we know that isn’t the case. That’s appreciated. Moreover, I’m still in awe of the final product. Their team has delivered what we’ve asked for and more.

No, there aren’t any. Bless Web Designs is local to us, and it’s nice to have them in the same time zone. They work remotely around the country, but you couldn’t tell. It feels like a local company working with a local organization like us.

Excited's attention to detail and requirement gathering really stands out

I've worked with Excited on different aspects of our software, mainly related to the member-facing side and some backend development. Excited has created a design system that utilizes reusable components and styles, which has helped us have a cohesive company feel across our products. The project's initial step has required Excited to conduct client interviews with 10–15 of our biggest customers.

During these interviews, the team asked questions about how users used our product to find which functions were irrelevant and which could move forward. Excited has organized the results of that intelligence gathering, after which we've asked the team to recreate functionalities of third-party services to offer them as part of our in-house full suite. The team has done a deep dive audit of our account, looking at our Google Analytics, Shopify, and Google Search Console data to see which pages get the most traffic and which ones have the most drop-off. They has quickly moved on to making the first conversion optimization tests on some of those higher-traffic pages, including our collection and product detail pages. We’ve worked our way back up to the homepage and navigation bar, where the conversion optimization has finished.


We've recognized that our site's theme was outdated and not working, so they have switched the design theme. The team is now starting the SEO services after the web design change. ThrillX has discussed with us our top keywords and identified some of the longer tail terms. ThrillX has used different technologies, including a tool for customer surveys and user testing, to get more information straight from our customers.

Bless Web Designs has gone above and beyond the scope we've signed. The team is very quick to respond and flexible with how we pay them, moving the same budget to different roles. This has been beneficial for us because this year is a little more of a down economic year.

Some of the website changes have hindered our ability to do promotional campaigns. We’re a little too dependent on The are right now to make changes to our site. Part of it is because our web developer is still learning and becoming better at it. We want to ensure that the tests aren't needed when we're doing promotional campaigns. What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

The launch of the website would have been better if they had more extensive ways to test functionality of regional content and languages before going live.
