The Customer has automated the processes of design and technological preparation of the production, implemented an ERP system, but the conveyor production still worked “in manual mode”: the orders, transferred to production, are printed on paper; no detailed operational planning of production; no prompt response to changes in the product specification; no requirements for the production nomenclature; no monitoring of production capacity; no quality control of each assembly operation and the quality of the finished product as a whole.

The Siemens Opcenter ExDs MES system was chosen to meet the needs of the Customer. The system was integrated with PLM-system Siemens Teamcenter, ERP-system SAP. It was also integrated with the equipment installed on the conveyor; it controlled and recorded the parameters of its operation.

The result

• The transfer of orders to production now takes into account a load of equipment and, as a result, the downtime is minimized.
• Each worker on the conveyor at any time knows what operations must be performed to assemble the incoming order, therefore labor costs are minimized.
• It is impossible to install the “wrong” part, as well as to forget to install the required one: the system will not allow the line to move on until all operations are completed, thus reducing the human factor.
• Each finished product is given an electronic passport, which includes an accurate list of installed parts, their manufacturers, assembly operations performed, and their parameters (for example, the efforts to tighten the nuts), therefore, the service history begins with the production.
• Accurate prediction of the production schedule, and as a result - improved quality of production management as a whole.
• Construction of transparent process management system.
• Improved product quality.

The Customer contacted us with a widespread problem. The volume of the company's data is constantly growing and the need for its placement implies an increase in the cost of using storage.

The goal of the project was to provide the opportunity to accumulate new data and store the historical data without having to degrade storage performance and increase the cost of ownership.

Our experts suggested the Customer to replace the current software solution with an alternative one — the Greenplum distributed database. The proposed solution eliminated a number of problems and provided additional benefits.

When approaching the final stage of the project, Invento Labs specialists took on the responsibility to train the technical specialists of the client company to work with a new solution, and after that handed over the necessary documentation. It allowed the Client to reduce the cost of the employee onboarding process and immerse the current ones in the new technology.

The business goal of the Customer was to expand the business.

The goal of the project was to create a web portal to provide a full range of storage services for the individuals.

The Customer provides their users with the opportunity to deposit tires and bicycles, clothes and shoes, household appliances, and seasonal goods. The scheme of work is as follows: the user orders a service, the company's specialists arrive at the destinated place, pack the goods, pick them up and take to the warehouse for further storage.

During the project, Invento Labs specialists developed a client portal and an app that met all the main needs of the Customer in their work with users.

Now the Customer can manage customer relations in the application, namely see the history of all requests and payment statuses, process applications for storage, and requests for the issue of material assets.
