Introducing the new branding and website design for Symphony Sleep, a leading manufacturer of premium quality mattresses and adjustable beds. At DD.NYC®, we made a complete rebranding, packaging design for over 100 SKUs, and fresh website design to better showcase the company’s outstanding innovative sleep products line.
An average web page produces approximately 0.5 grams of CO2 per page view. We have developed a website-creation platform where anyone has an opportunity to create a website with a minimum level of CO2 emissions.
From concept to execution – DD.NYC® team crafted a strong Web 3.0 brand identity for the Rommate client. After establishing the distinctive creative direction – our team designed modern marketing materials and brand assets for the useful app.
The design process started with understanding the brand, its values, and target audience. Our team conducted extensive research into the shoe repair industry to stay up to date on the latest design trends and what makes similar websites appealing to customers.
Airatae ethos is the belief that most people want a kinder, more compassionate, and just world. Our team is fully engaged in creating a bespoke Brand Identity for the platform of change, including web design, development, and complete SaaS platform UI/UX.

The Arts Building NYC is a boutique office building located in midtown Manhattan. DD.NYC designed and launched a new website, as well as re-branded all the assets of the Manhattan building - including stationary
Sustainability Fashion Brand - LAVUE womenswear - was designed for a new generation of urbanites who care about fashion’s impact on the environment. Our creative team handled all the attributes of the brand identity development for the company.

If the link is a shoppable product - app fetches the price, description, brand, and other info, tracking the price with automated push notification on any changes. DigitalDesign.NYC is a creative tech agency founded in 2015 in NYC. We specialize in design & development for websites and mobile apps of marketplaces (restaurants, comedy clubs, nail salons) primarily in NYC & LA.
My name is Anjelika Kour and I am the Founder and Managing Director of DigitalDesign.NYC.
What is the story behind starting this company?
I was born in Siberia to a prominent engineering family and always had a keen eye for entrepreneurship. After working as a first hire in a large hospitality startup in NYC, I founded DigitalDesign.NYC in 2015, an agency that would specialize in UI/UX for apps and SEO-first web, for startup clients in the lifestyle, beauty, and hospitality space - namely Snailz, Brick & Portal, REPEATS, Hyena, Squrl, amongst others.
As an entrepreneur working with startups, I also became deeply involved with the ecosystem in New York and worldwide. I've been advising on social strategy, funding, design, UI/UX, front-end, and back-end development to early-stage and venture-backed startups for years. Along with my support of up-and-coming brands, I am also an outspoken advocate for all things women-in-tech.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
Our philosophy has been and remains to be that every good agency should be building everything in-house. Our business model is having two offices, a design specialty office in NYC and a dev/backend-specialty office in Eastern Europe. Both offices are completely in-house and no outsources to third-party vendors take place at DigitalDesign.NYC. Employees from our NYC office do annual month-long trips to our European office (except during COVID) and get to know the team of each end of the pond well.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
We take a very “partner” approach to projects. We don’t simply see our projects on the agency-client relationship level, but instead as an extended design and development arm of their companies. As such, we delve into the strategy and problems our client companies are trying to solve and come up with creative tech solutions to do so. Even if it means a creative SEO strategy to grow the business organically, no task is too simple to help our clients solve.

Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
Generally, we are approached to bring a mobile app idea into life. In reality, we end up doing all the design components of the company’s needs – branding, investor decks, landing page websites, in parallel to the development of any larger technology that takes place. We are also well known for our integration work – besides a series of payment processors, affiliate networks, backend APIs we have integrated for our clients, several of our engineers are also SABRE-certified and have integrated the travel API for a number of projects.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We work to get the job done! Having done virtually no outbound marketing or sales, all of our clients have been referral-based. That alone can speak to our customer satisfaction.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Each client has a lead designer or product manager catering to the queries of the project. Most issues get resolved within a few hours or days, depending on complexity.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
Each project truly varies. But typically, for longer, more complex projects – we work on a monthly retainer that encompasses all the requests for changes and on-going feature development. For smaller projects, such as branding or investor decks, or simple websites – fixed cost is typically our approach.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Our minimum engagement is typically no less than 10K. But projects vary depending on the size and complexity. For small design projects such as branding and decks, we really can work with our client’s budget to make it work. In special cases, we also work on a hybrid of cash & equity with our startup clients where will take a stake in the company’s future as part of the remuneration for the project.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
Given the uniqueness of 2020, we’ve done projects from a 6-figure range to as little as 5K.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
I see us building more interesting technology, designing amazing UI, and propelling our current clients into the future with strategic direction, support, and introductions.
