Demojo is an award-winning creative agency specializing in digital & experiential marketing. We help our clients achieve effective results through digital and on-ground engagement that delights their audiences.
I am co-founder of the agency, heading the business development & servicing team.
What is the story behind starting this company?
We saw a gap when most creative agencies outsource their productions and execution tasks where the ideas are often poorly executed by a third-party agency. There are always issues in the integration of execution. With a mix of backgrounds of the founders, Demojo is able to add value by providing execution expertise on different touchpoints on top of creative strategy. We are aspired to be a leading independent creative agency within the South East Asia region.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
Demojo work in a mixed mood of in-house and outsourcing. model. Our in-house team consists of 3 main functions which are Creative, Digital & Experiential team. The creative ideation and conceptualization are done in-house. All teams would work hand in hand for the integration of the campaign.
We only outsource production execution whenever specific software, platforms, or tools are required.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
Our core competencies are expertise within the digital and experiential platforms. We are able to strategize and execute creative campaigns at multiple touchpoints. Besides, our ideas are fused with local cultural context and data insights to connect with the audiences for campaign effectiveness.
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
Our clients are mainly from government, corporates, and MNCs in FMCG, Healthcare, and Retail industries. More than 70% of our clients are on retainer & repetitive clients.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
We have to work on campaigns for rebranding, product launch, and brand awareness. Lead generation, etc. These deliverables are included creative strategy, video production, creative design, digital marketing, social media management, event marketing, etc.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Client satisfaction is high based on the retention rate and repeat order. We always have post-mortem meetings with clients upon task completion regardless of project values to get direct feedback on performance and our services for improvement.
We emphasize our client’s a great experience and achieve their objectives over the profits.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
Each project or task is handled by two project managers. One would be the main contact point for servicing and management, the other would be a backup in case of emergency. The servicing director is also looped in all communication.
Besides, our team that is in charge of the brand will be introduced to the client upon onboarding and the client could always escalate any queries to the project managers or their reporting directors.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We bill the client according to deliverables or man-hours involved. Our payment module is usually on a monthly retainer or project basis.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
Yes. Requirements are clear and brief with objectives, a feasible timeline, and our team's interest in the brand. Based on our experience the minimum budget for an effective campaign would be around 7,500 USD.

Minimum budget of 7,500 USD and 100,000 USD.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
We are eyeing an 8 digits revenue with offices in 3 countries around SEA.
