We had a customer who asked us to build an e-commerce platform to provide artists with an opportunity to sell creative clothes. There are a lot of different functions, like a personal account, ad posting manager, cart, checkout, payment system with a special fee structure, etc. We already had an approved design so we provided Figma files to the DB team and they worked on the rest of the stuff.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
We met each other when they needed help with their brand positioning. At that time we were impressed by their philosophy and "the Butler Code". Plus their work quality is very solid and they provided us with a special partner rate. Based on these facts we built a strong co-operation and will recommend the Digital Butlers team to others.

Tomorrow's Journey is a B2B software company, building the underlying platform for car subscription and other mobility businesses. My name is Joe Capocci, a commercial executive and early hire at Tomorrow's Journey and the project lead on the company website.
The aim was to take an initial wireframe of the company website with minimal content and build a fantastic website, explaining our complex proposition.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
They faced some difficulty re-structuring their company due the events in Ukraine, with some of their team based in the country. They only asked for a week off to get themselves organised and then continued to work on the project.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
We are don't really like the way their payment structure works, as we were asked to pay for work we weren't happy with towards the beginning of the project. However, they were flexible and we managed to find an agreement we were both happy with.
They provide out-of-the-box solutions and go outside their comfort zone to try new things.

Describe your project in brief
We discussed our project scope with Digital Butlers and communicated our needs. Then, they evaluated our original website page-by-page and decided which content they should and shouldn’t include on the new site.
They provided us with 15–20 mock-ups, and we chose two designs to move forward with. We went through several iterations of mock-ups, designs, content building, and testing, and Digital Butlers developed a new site from scratch. The site has static content informing users of our company and our services. We were adamant that Digital Butlers build the site using clean, understandable code so that we could update it post-handoff, which they did.
They implemented the latest versions of all third-party software and provided us with the build materials so we could update it later on. They continue to maintain and host the site using Webflow. They’re also going to build a separate subdomain site for our lab and research facility.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
Digital Butlers’ creativity is their biggest strength. They provide out-of-the-box solutions and go outside their comfort zone to try new things. We’ve worked with other development partners who only want to operate with tasks they’re comfortable with, and Digital Butlers is willing to try anything. They’re really talented and driven. I appreciate that they take on challenges to meet our specific needs instead of pigeonholing our brand into one thing they’re comfortable with. They’re fast learners and willing to experiment and figure out different ways to achieve what we’re looking for. For example, they’re working on creating a dynamic image for the site background, which they had never done before. They take on new challenges in stride, and I value that.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
My only feedback would be for them to tighten up their contractual aspects and ensure terms are clearly outlined at the beginning of projects, so clients understand what they can expect regarding costs and deliverables.
All the work is done on time, strictly according to our schedule.

When you create content at scale, you'll run into issues. You need a way of developing a myriad of marketing assets in a click of a button. You need to synthesize a very specialized role and make it approachable for someone with little to no experience. We partnered with digital Butlers because we needed help making a dream on a napkin a reality. A dream where we could provide low-cost content solutions to our members at scale.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
One of the best parts of my day is finding out how we progressed in our mission. The dedication it takes to show up day in and day out is what has impressed me the most about this company. You will never progress in business if you don't have a team that is consistent. You will never progress in business if you don't have a team that is dedicated. They are both.
What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?
Yes. We continually have on-going discussions about more transparency and better communication. I don't think this is exclusive to DB, it's just part of growing a technology business. You don't always know what is around the corner, but after years, you should know how to respond...and deal less with reacting.
I love their design approach, but the most unique thing is their positioning.

The SOW included a range of consequential change orders, feature requirements, and conditional logic/outcomes. We've also engaged them to develop a website for a global consumer products brand. This project included following clients' challenging tech stack requirements, collaborating with multiple teams, and in-depth review/edit processes.
What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?
Their range of technical expertise. Responsiveness to complete projects on time and to an extremely high level of quality. Ability to assess and understand complex, intertwined technical needs and apply a clear methodology to success.

Only thing that comes to mind is I'd like to bring them into a dedicated project management software to track work progress and collaborate more efficiently.
