DreamX is a Ukrainian UX/UI design and development company. We create designs for websites, apps, web applications, SaaS products, CRM/ERP systems, and more. Moreover, we help startups worldwide with pitch deck and MVP designs. We work across a wide variety of niches, including healthcare, education, crypto, travel, real estate, AI, MLS, and more. As for my role, I’m the founder and CEO of DreamX.
What inspired the founding of your company, and what is the story behind its inception?
I’ve always dreamed of having my own business because working for someone else never really inspired me. I wanted to create something of my own and see the results of my efforts. By the age of 20, I realized the importance of earning with my mind rather than just my hands. That’s when I decided to dive into the digital space, which seemed to offer the mobility and growth I was looking for.
But don’t think that I just woke up one day and decided to launch a business. It was a tough journey. Firstly, I wanted to understand the IT field first, so I went through nearly 100 interviews with different companies. This helped me grasp what they offered and how they worked. I also analyzed niches, some digital trends and I finally found my niche in UX/UI design. After that I founded DreamX in January 2022. It was a pretty straightforward process: started the company, found the first client, hired a designer and began setting up our internal processes.
What are the core values and principles that drive your company's culture, and how do you ensure alignment with these values across your team?
There are 6 core values that define our company culture. The first one is people first, where we prioritize the needs and well-being of our clients and team members. The second value is the responsibility, ensuring we meet our commitments and deliver on our promises. We also embrace flexibility, welcoming new ideas and feedback from clients. Effective communication is vital, as it keeps everyone informed and involved during projects. Our effective workflow promotes efficiency, while integrity guides our interactions and decision-making. These values help us maintain alignment and foster a positive culture.
Can you highlight some of the key achievements or milestones your company has accomplished since its inception?
One of our biggest achievements has been growing despite the challenges we've faced here in Ukraine. As I’ve mentioned above, I launched the company in January 2022, right before the full-scale invasion, and now, in 2024, we’ve expanded from 2 team members to over 20! We've completed hundreds of design projects and built great relationships with our clients, many of whom keep coming back for more.

We operate with an in-house team. This allows us to maintain full control over the quality of our work and foster strong collaboration among team members.

What makes us unique is our position as a one-stop shop for various niches, including healthcare, fintech, crypto, real estate, travel, AI, and more. In addition, we differentiate ourselves by collaborating closely with startups. Our focus on pitch deck design and MVP design enables us to assist them on their journeys. We also implement a milestone-based payment model that enhances trust. Clients enjoy the benefit of a small initial pre-payment instead of a hefty upfront cost, with future payments aligned with weekly progress. We’ve created an environment where everyone has the chance to grow and learn. We regularly hold internal workshops and seminars, and we love sharing experiences. We work with a wide range of industries. Here they are: healthcare, fintech, crypto, real estate, travel, music, fitness, education, SaaS, startups, AI, MLS. But the main focus is on startups. Typically, our ratio of new to repeat clients stands at about 60% to 40%, leaning toward new clients. What payment structure do you typically follow when billing clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, or Pay per Milestone (phases, months, versions, etc.)?
At DreamX, we follow a milestone-based payment structure. Our clients kick off the project with a small pre-payment, and then they pay based on weekly progress reports.
Do you accept projects that meet your basic budget requirements? If yes, what is the minimum budget requirement? If no, what is the minimum budget you have worked with in the past?
We are open to considering projects that start at $1,000. For example, this amount can be sufficient for developing a solid pitch deck and design to attract investments. Typically, our average project budget is $3,000 and above.

We plan to actively enter new markets and adapt our offerings to meet the needs of an international audience. 2. Create our own products: Beyond client projects, we are committed to developing our own innovative products that have the potential to shape the market. 3. Social responsibility: We recognize the importance of corporate social responsibility and plan to actively support education, science, and social initiatives. By the way, we’ve already taken steps in this direction. I participate in the educational social initiative uBoost, and our company supports one of the Ukrainian animal shelters. We regularly purchase dog food and help shelter dogs receive the love and care they need.
