We searched for developers local to the US and over seas. We landing on E-Intelligence at the recommendation of another India based vendor we have a strong partnership with. They work tirelessly to try to provide an acceptable final product. Their customer service and professionalism is second to none. However arriving to our finished website was rather painful and long process. The project took much longer than scoped to finish and we were left with a great looking site that worked as promised on the front end. On the back end, it was set up so that a full transition to a local admin would be extremely difficult if they did not have a dev background. Every page was coded differently. The way the site was built with older styles and code, it facilitated a need to keep them on as the admin and this was not scoped. Build it and hand it off, this was the ask. We were even told not to update to the latest WP version because it would break code. In the end, the site looks great but we were not set up to be able to easily update and expand it ourselves.
