When I first shared the concept for my app development, the Envion team was receptive, appeared excited to help, and offered ideas to make the app a better product. They outlined a project plan, which due to my inexperience, I did not fully understand as the project required much more investment than I thought. They worked with me step by step and believed in the product. They were patient, receptive and responsive, and willing to go the extra mile to address any problems.

Describe your project in brief

The Minute Mood app is designed to foster journaling and co-journaling in the interest of tracking and managing moods. The app builds communication and empathy skills to strengthen relationships.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

The team was willing to take extra time to work through any problems with the app.

They responded to all email requests usually the same day.

They were personable, flexible and stayed committed to the project.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

At times they were backlogged because they were busy, but that is understandable to me.

Dealing with overseas firms can be frustrating however this Outfit is different. The efficient delivery of exactly what we needed was accomplished and if we had any issues they were resolved professionally.

Envion create a sophisticated and complex learning app with thousands of learning activities and an authoring component..

We wanted a vendor that came recommended to us by my own contacts. The fact that their president lived in the United States was a deciding factor. All past functionality has been incorporated into the new code. A huge number of functionality additions have been incorporated into the new code. The old code was described by Envion in this way: "I know it works, but I don't understand why." It now works and everyone understands why.

From my perspective, when A was changed in the cold code, it broke B, even though it took days to figure out the relationship between A and B (which made no sense when we figured it out). Now, everything is modular and when A breaks, A breaks...and nothing else. And After A has been implemented, it basically never breaks.

Envion has been completely rewriting our code for the past 18 months. They have completely rewritten the code and made numerous functionality additions. They use REACT on the front end, Node JS on the back end, and Mongo DB.

The Envion team was patient, responsive and diligent in understanding my needs and getting my product to market.

I came to the Envion team after experiencing growing pains with another team. From the start, they were diligent in digging into the code base and understanding the problems that I was facing. As a non-technical founder, what stood out most to me about this team was their ability to effectively communicate issues, timelines and how readily responsive they were to the multitude of questions that I had. I came to the Envion team to fix my product but what they really did was rebuild my product. I would not have been able to go to market without this kind of team and would highly recommend them.
