LIARS, SCAMMERS, Dragging you through the process until they can take as much money as they can
After handing over my money, it seemed like all communication lines with Flynaut got increasingly difficult.
A high turnover of project managers was the norm, missed deadlines, non-fuctional programming, ultimately losing me money, event opportunities and credibility.
I will be seeking a full refund of $37,858.29. The proposed 5-month completion timelines has been ongoing for nearly 19months at the point I sent the contract cancellation and refund request letter.
Flynaut continued to draft payments from me even though clause 7 of the contract states that the client payments should be halted in the even that Flynaut delayed the project timeframe by more than 6 months.
I did good faith efforts and tried to coordinate meetings and create documents, hired a project manager of my own to take over in January of 2023. She agreed with my sentiments about Flynaut.
It became increasingly evident that they had no intention of delivering the product they had promised.

Then in April 2023, we come to find out that my app has been being hosted on a cpanel server meaning unsecured and ive been paying for a secure aws server. We find this out because my sms and email got hacked and 40k plus emails were sent to people in india, acting like a bank that needed updated information. So not only did I have to pay for those communications to go out but it aided in taking money away from people.
After finding more and more reviews, fake portfolios, multiple companies in other states and a slack channel with 16 other founders also with the same exact story-I had realized that Shadab was a scammer

From their “888” number, based out of “North Carolina.” You’ll interface with “Russel” (don’t be fooled by the name like I was, looked him up on LinkedIn 5 mins ago, he’s from India), then once you’ve paid, you get passed off to Rahul.
They took my money, they tricked me, they passed off BS, 3rd rate work, and then tried to tell me I’d have to pay an additional $1600 to finish the job—a 2 page website. The contract was for $600.
I got conned, so you don’t have to.

Flynaut's deliverables are extremely well done, on time, and within my budget.

I learned about Flynaut's products and services by inquiring about them myself instead of being informed during the start up phase.
Virtual meetings should be held with video (at least initially) so the relationship starts off stronger.
The client needed an application for both major platforms, Android and iOS. Our efficient developers developed the app for iOS using the Xcode tool and Swift language. The Android app was developed using the Android Studio tool and the programming language Java. Php Codeigniter was the platform used to create the website for the client.
The client wanted Flynaut to build a digitally empowered platform where the job recruiters and the candidates could interact virtually with the help of questions and answers recorded in the form of small videos for better understanding. Creating a platform that would also allow job seekers to apply to domain-based jobs was the project's core objective. Despite the client’s busy schedule, Flynaut could absorb and understand the client’s requirements in no time. We delivered exactly what was expected with the thorough research done and aligning it with the client’s needs.
Kyle Naylor, a Chiropractor himself, approached Flynaut with the idea of creating a platform where the patients could comfortably interact with the doctors/ practitioners. As much as we were excited to work on this amazing idea, we were overwhelmed by the fact that we had to design a virtual human body in the application that the users could use to define their parts of concerns for more precise communication with the doctor. And we were successfully able to provide the client with what they were looking for. Other added features were video calling, time-slot management, and availability display. One major technology used in app-building was Flutter.

There are several factors that determine the time frame we set for an app project. For instance, if the app has to be embedded with a lot of features, more coding will be required, which will mean more time to avoid errors. Moreover, some mobile applications require market research and business analysis too, which may further increase the timeline. The final time frame is decided bearing in mind factors like design, user interface, graphics, functionality, and bug fixing; everything is considered thoroughly.
What are the key parameters to be considered before selecting the right platform for a mobile application?
This requires intensive knowledge of numerous things. Before proceeding, you must know who your audience is; what kind of platforms are they using. Like, if you are targeting a global audience, Android will suit you more, but iOS must be the preference for brands that have audiences residing in western European countries.
Demographic characteristics must be taken into consideration. According to the present statistics, Android users are much more in Asian countries than any other part of the world. Certain other things also come into play, such as revenue goals, objectives of an app, maintenance cost, budget, and so on.
Which platform do you suggest your clients, to begin with when they approach you with an idea (Android or iOS) and why?
For beginners, the Android platform appears to be a good choice as it is flexible, being open-source. Once you get familiar with the management and maintenance of the application and have built up a considerable audience network, you can definitely move on to the iOS platform as well. I would like to mention here that the iOS platform has some strict rules for developers, but the same is not in the case of Android.
Android or iOS, Native or Hybrid — which platform is best to use to build your app? What are your recommendations?
As of present times, the majority of businesses are referring to a hybrid model. Talking about iOS or Android, I would admit that iOS’s impact is more in the case of enterprises. You surely need to have more budgets if you want your application to be published on both platforms at the same time. As mentioned earlier, revenue goals are also to be kept in mind as people rarely opt for paid apps for Android, but Apple users are willingly ready to go with paid apps as well. Not to forget, there is less risk of malware threats and piracy on the iOS platform, which is not the same for Android.
The bottom line is better to go with the hybrid model, but exemplifying your applications on the iOS platform is recommended for entrepreneurs or emerging businesses.
What are the key factors that you consider before deciding the cost of a mobile application?
The features we prioritize for deciding the cost are features, functionality, customization of visuals, platforms for publishing the application, back end infrastructure, availability and requirement of the team, maintenance of application and specific requirements of clients.
Which business model do you suggest to your clients, enabling them to generate revenue from mobile applications? Why?
The best model according to me is the in-app purchase model, which is performing best right now in the market from the point of view of generating revenue. Secondly, I prefer to go with the freemium model. Such applications come with some free features with an option to upgrade and unlock more powerful features by paying a fair amount of fee. The most obvious one is displaying advertisements. Applications in this category, too, have an in-app purchase option where users pay the money to go ad-free.
Some free apps without advertising also have high earning potential by partnering with brands and through sponsorship opportunities if the application acquires a pretty good number of download.
Above all, I would suggest my clients a combination of freemium and in-app purchase model. The app must be free to download, and some features must be rendered free but some worthwhile customizations can be monetized.
