The Council of Canadians (COC) is a registered non-profit organization. A grass roots movement, bringing people together to take collective action, and for the focus of this project; through the education of our youth, building community awareness and action in the fight for clean water, and to defend the human right to water across Canada and globally,

To assist in the Blue certification process of schools, by creating dedicated educational resources for teachers and students on the ecological and human rights issues related to the global water crisis. Motivating and supporting schools to take action and think blue.

One of the first steps was to create a beautiful, resourceful, multifaceted website, with an overall goal to educate, to assist teachers to educate, and to motivate children to become activists for the human right to water.

A custom designed website, consistent with the Council’s existing branding guidelines. A design that allows for easy viewing of information on the water crisis and the importance of educating our youth, with clear Call To Action items. With a site structure that can evolve as the initiative evolves. A professional design that works seamlessly on mobile devices. 

Also included was the design of a modified Blue Communities logo design to incorporate the focus on schools (K-12).

Custom WordPress website design and development for a Canadian leader in historical research.

JHA’s original website was designed over a decade ago, and although standing the test of time, it was essential that JHA have a refreshed presence on the web and update the platform their site was on.

folēo created a modern display for a historical subject, showing the client’s passion and demonstrated leadership in the historical research consulting field. Profiling team members and their experience and skills, and various client groups.

folēo also designed a new logo, letterhead and e-signature template.

Web design and development for Smile Factory, a sought after face painting company in the Ottawa area.

The owner of Smile Factory, Tracy Leon, has had a website in place for her company since 2007, originally done by foleo Inc., and although it had stood the test of time, the client wanted a fresh new design, mobile response and built on a WordPress platform.

foleo drew inspiration from the client's beautiful face painting and glitter tattoo photos, to create a modern, fun and colourful new website.

A day after the new site was launched, our client received five bookings in one day!

Web design and development for The Andy & Paddy Team, a highly successful real estate team in Ottawa.

This dynamic team of real estate professionals needed a fresh, new website, consistent with their current branding as seen on their social media platforms, and a great display for their client's listings. Our client also needed a bike stand design as part of their updated marketing material.

foleo utilized the client's great photos, videos and social media channels to create a modern, cutting edge website. Client listings are showcased prominently on the site with beautiful photo galleries. It was an absolute joy to work with this highly successful team of realtors.

Happy Hound is a top Golden Doodle breeder and dog training company here in Ottawa, Ontario.  The company is owned by Marcia Scott, who has an amazing team behind her, and the most precious puppies you've ever seen. 

foleo Inc. was thrilled to design and develop the Happy Hound website, including lots of photos of the Happy Hound puppies.  We also integrated WooCommerce to develop an online puppy reservation system, and our clients our thrilled with the result, which has served to cut down their workload in this area immensley.

We also designed their business card, brochure and newsletter.

Jan is a highly successful Broker in the beautiful city Ottawa.  She was looking for a new, custom designed, responsive website, that would be consistent with the visual and functional user experience she wants to provide her clients and site visitors.  Including a new, fresh, modern display to showcase her client's listings.
