I would give Gera-It your highest ratings. We worked with them to produce a software discovery for a project. They went beyond requirements and delivered an outstanding product. We have been successful in using it towards our funding goals. We intend to work with them both for short-term development and long-term tier 2 tech support. We found them to be highly competent, honest, delivered great code, and probably most importantly kept us from making unrealistic requirements.

Our team consists of highly skilled and experienced software engineers, designers, and project managers who are dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative software solutions to our clients.

As the founder of Gera-IT, my role within the organization is to provide strategic direction and leadership. I am responsible for setting the company's vision, mission, and goals and ensuring that we are consistently delivering exceptional results to our clients. I also play a key role in client acquisition, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and driving the overall growth and success of the company.

Additionally, I oversee the hiring and development of our team members, ensuring that we have a talented and motivated team equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver outstanding solutions. I also work closely with our project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget and that our clients are satisfied with the final product.

Overall, my role is to lead the company toward continued growth and success by fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction.

What is the story behind starting this company?

In the autumn of 2006, two ambitious young people, my wife Mariia and I, decided to create a groundbreaking company to contribute to the digital world.

Maria, armed with her profound knowledge of economics and a track record of successfully spearheading business projects, had an illustrious background working with esteemed corporations. She assumed the role of CEO, leading her teams with grace and strategic prowess.

Having a technical education and extensive experience as an analyst, tester, and Java developer, I took the COO role.
So, complementing each other's skills and experiences harmoniously, we've created Gera-IT, a reliable technological partner.

Back then, Ruby on Rails was just starting to make waves in the tech industry. We assembled a talented group of engineers, each with extensive experience in various technologies such as Java, .NET, and PHP. However, we craved more - an opportunity to push boundaries, introduce groundbreaking concepts, and revolutionize the development process. So, these seasoned engineers decided to make the switch to Ruby on Rails, championing the use of fast, innovative approaches over antiquated, complex, and costly ones.

Our mission was simple - to assist startups and emerging projects in easily and swiftly entering the market. While we concurrently worked on projects involving different technologies, our passion ultimately drew us to Ruby on Rails. As a result, we fostered one of the largest communities of Ruby on Rails engineers at that time.

Today, our dynamic team is over 50 talented individuals passionate about technology and constantly striving for innovation in the digital world. Despite the challenges we've faced, I am proud of the decision I made 16 years ago.

With our outstaffing services, we offer specialized engineers who can assist with specific tasks or projects. On the other hand, our outsourcing services are perfect for clients who have an idea but not a reliable team to implement it. We act as a technological partner, covering the entire project development cycle while providing experts in various fields, including business analysis, project management, design, data analytics, and quality assurance.
We work hand in hand with our clients to determine the best approach for their needs, whether it's team expansion or total outsourcing. With Gera-IT, you can trust that your project will be in capable and dedicated hands.

In addition to handling outsourcing and outstaffing projects, we have our own products. One of them is TestCaseLab – a cutting-edge QA test case management system. Moreover, we proudly work with some clients as co-owners, collaborating closely on their projects.

But we are not limited to just one sector. For 16 years on the market, we have a proven track record of success in other industries such as EdTech, FinTech, IoT, and Business process automation. Over 57% of our clients working with us for over 5 years.The longest current cooperation - 12 years (Healthcare industry). Furthermore, we are proud to say that the majority of our clients recommend us to their friends and colleagues, who then come to us for their project development needs.
We have a well-defined process that includes understanding our client's objectives and assigning a dedicated project manager for effective communication.

Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?

Our minimum budget requirement typically revolves around projects that span 3-4 weeks in duration. These are often proof of concept or small MVP (Minimum Viable Product) ventures. We understand the importance of testing a business hypothesis before diving into a full-scale project.

We don’t have a specific limitation. It should just make sense. The goal is followed by the Scope of work, which ends up in the budget/schedule.

For us, it is important to match the cost of development with the value of the project. We don’t like to spend time on useless things. We have cases when we even explained that a project is better, NOT to start at all. And cases when a client went to work more on the idea as we explained potential risks or problems.

10 years is a long period. But through our commitment to innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction, I expect Gera-IT will become a recognized leader in healthcare projects development, making a positive impact on the industry as a whole.
