PSD2HTML did everything very precisely.

PSD2HTML executed a functionality for our interactive banner ads in a way that left our client very satisfied.
Our Digital/Creative/Ad agency hired PSD2HTML developers to execute functionality for interactive banner ads that our client ordered.
We had two key requirements:

The work was to be completed by the deadline we set.
Visitors to the website should be able to interact with the banners themselves.

PSD2HTML did everything the way we wanted, implementing our creative vision for the banners precisely.
We were also fortunate to have an efficient and pleasant PM Margaret. Whenever we had a question or feedback, she responded immediately, passing on our requests to the developers.

Their workflow is perfect!

PSD2HTML implements responsive website templates precisely, applying the latest technologies and best practices. Their workflow is perfect.
Our web development agency builds Internet solutions of different types. We’ve been outsourcing some of our projects to PSD2HTML for the past couple of years. These are mostly frontend tasks, but the latest project, a website for a corporate customer, also involved building the back end.
What we like most about this company is how skillfully they convert page layouts into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS code that renders immaculately across browsers. This facilitates our further development work greatly.
Another reason why we’ve partnered with PSD2HTML for years is their well-adjusted workflow. A PM on their side handles the entire communication with the development team. There are no delays at all.

I experienced great professionalism and accurate development services during every project I worked on with PSD2HTML.

There are two parts of the process that factor into the overall experience. One is the accuracy of the execution of the given task, and the other is the communication and working relationship with the project manager. Since I do not have direct contact with the development team, the quality of my experience is based solely on my relationship with the project manager. In my case, I am fortunate to have an incredibly professional, responsive, detailed, and friendly project manager. My project manager makes me feel completely confident that my requests are being properly translated to the development team and that the work will get done within the agreed-upon timeframe and scope.

Describe your project in brief

The most recent project I worked with PSD2HTML on was for the web development of a microsite based on Adobe XD files that I provided. The timeframe for the project was much more aggressive than normal, but my project manager reviewed the scope and came up with a plan to have the job complete within the date range I provided. The whole process went smooth despite the rush, and the delivered files were exactly what I was hoping for.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

The quality of the relationship with my project manager is the most important and most appreciated factor.

Challenge

GDC Media & Design has an in-house team of highly professional web developers and designers with years of experience under their belts. However, the agency sometimes finds itself overloaded with orders and short on development resources. That’s when they hire us to handle certain projects and tasks for them. This time around, the agency’s management was planning on relaunching its corporate website.
Our task was to create markup and animations/interactive effects for them.
Additionally, the client requested a hamburger navigation menu for a better user experience on mobile devices.
Finally, they wanted us to use the default page editor Gutenberg on the back-end.

Solution

1. Technologies and Tools

• To create the animations and interactive effects on the pages, we used the cutting-edge WebGL JavaScript API.
• To build the default and custom blocks for the web pages, we used Gutenberg, as requested by the client.

• To create the markup, we used the staple web technologies – HTML5 and CSS3.

2. Interactive Effects and Animations

The effects that we added to the pages:

• Anchor navigation with smooth scroll

• AJAX load more / Infinite scroll

• Smoke animation

• Project image parallax

• Footer background animation

• Hamburger menu

• Custom mouse cursor

• Magnetic buttons

Custom CRM and AI Reporting Tool

Technology solution

The system restructuring began with a plan to re-engineer the existing DMP system, build a brand-new CRM from scratch, and integrate partnership recruitment functionality.

We broke the project down into clear phases to keep things lean, scalable, and future-proof.

System Rebuild
We started with a complete reengineering of the existing DMP, restructuring it into a scalable architecture using AWS tools like Glue, Redshift, and S3. This laid the foundation for all future development.

Custom CRM
From scratch, we designed and developed a full-featured CRM tailored to our client's workflows. It featured:

• Intuitive dashboards;
• Real-time data sync;
• Scalable architecture for thousands of partner profiles.

Partner Discovery Tool Integration
Partner discovery features were deeply embedded into the CRM's Partners section. This meant users no longer had to jump between tools — everything was in one place.

Smart Reports with GPT
In a first for this agency, we introduced a fully integrated AI module powered by OpenAI's GPT. This Smart Reports feature enabled:

• Auto-generated campaign summaries;
• PDF report creation;
• Performance predictions and content suggestions.

Upskilling & Handoff
Throughout the build, we trained our client's internal team on the technologies used — so they could own the platform post-launch without vendor dependence.

Tech stack:

• Frontend: Hasura (No-Code GraphQL), Custom CRM UI
• Backend: Apache PySpark, AWS Glue, Python
• Data: AWS Redshift, S3, CloudWatch
• AI/ML: OpenAI (GPT), PowerBI
• DevOps: GitHub Actions, CircleCI
• Other: AWS SQS, Heroku

Redeveloping the website on WordPress

Client

The Playground reached out to us for assistance with the redevelopment of the website of their client – a London-based lettings agency Winchester White.

Challenge

The legacy site's native CMS made content updates slow and developer-dependent. The new build needed responsive pages, seamless property listings ingestion, and reliable analytics/SEO tooling.

Solution

GetDevDone rebuilt the website on WordPress, shipping the front end in milestone batches (homepage, key service pages, careers, guides, journal, FAQs) with clean HTML/CSS and dynamic JS (AJAX filters/sort, maps, sliders). On the back end we implemented custom post types (News, FAQs, Staff), curated and tuned essential plugins (ACF, Yoast, Redirection, GDPR Cookie Consent, WP REST Cache, etc.), and replaced a custom BLM import with Property Hive + BLM Import add-on, saving ~3 weeks of custom development while preserving the client's listing flow. We migrated and optimized the stack on Nimbus hosting.

Results

• Content management shifted to the business team; no dev hand-offs for routine updates.
• Faster, filterable property search with map/grid views and REST caching for heavy listings.
• Lower cost and quicker delivery via off-the-shelf BLM import (vs. bespoke integration).
• Smooth launch and ongoing collaboration with the agency.

Tech/Plugins

WordPress, ACF (+ extensions), Yoast, Property Hive (+ BLM Import), WP REST Cache, Contact Form 7, Stripe Express, Google Maps.

Shopify + ERP: scaling fashion growth

A mid-sized French fashion retailer (€35M turnover) faced a familiar dilemma: fragmented commerce systems, hidden costs from prior consultancy engagements, and eroding trust in technology investments. Their leadership set a clear mandate: restore control, reduce operational risk, and scale responsibly without locking the business into spiraling SaaS spend.

In partnership with their agency, GetDevDone delivered a phased commerce integration program anchored on transparency, ROI-first pilots, and governance-by-design. The program unified Shopify Plus, WooCommerce, and Odoo ERP into a single cost-controlled operating spine, balancing resilience with independence.

Strategic challenges

• Inventory volatility eroded customer trust: overselling and backorders reached ~7% of orders.
• ERP disconnects forced manual reconciliation, costing hours each week.
• Leadership lacked visibility into margin performance by channel, promotions sometimes ran at a loss.
• Previous "big consultancy" had left the business with over-engineered, high-license systems that couldn't be sustained.

Business impact delivered

• Operational discipline: Overselling cut from 7% → 1.5% across all SKUs, restoring customer confidence.
• Financial resilience: SaaS avoidance saved ~€4,000/month in recurring costs; integration built on client-owned cloud.
• Decision intelligence: New dashboards gave board-level visibility into margin performance, enabling pricing based on profitability rather than guesswork.
• Talent independence: The IT team now manages the majority of daily operations independently, with GetDevDone engaged only for escalation.
• Governance readiness: GDPR and PCI DSS v4.0 compliance embedded, ensuring readiness for audits without external consultants.

Power BI Transformation for Affiliate Agency
Period of cooperation: May 2022 – ongoing

Project highlights

• Data storing and management: Our team led the development and implementation of a forecasting system that aimed to enhance organizational decision-making.
• Reporting performance: By eliminating excessive calculations and backend requests, we improved performance and reduced AWS costs.
• Data optimization: We archived outdated data and split active datasets into smaller tables, lifted the AWS computing strain, sped up report generation, and prepared the business for future scaling.

Technology solution

Data Restructuring & Performance Optimization
We restructured oversized datasets by archiving rarely used data and breaking the remaining data into smaller, query-optimized tables. Backend improvements included rewriting queries, applying indexes and partitions, and configuring single-direction relationships to avoid circular dependencies.

Forecasting System Integration
We built a forecasting module using historical data and AutoML models. These models now provide estimates on channel performance, marketing ROI, and profitability by partner type, all within the Power BI interface.

Front-End & UX Enhancements
To improve user experience, we implemented streaming operations, preloaded visuals for dashboards, and removed redundant queries, reducing report loading time to under 10 minutes.

Business outcome

• Report Speed – Reduced generation time from 5 hours to under 10 minutes, empowering daily decision-making across marketing and finance.
• Cost Reduction – Optimized AWS compute and storage costs by minimizing data bloat and inefficient queries.
• Forecasting Capabilities – The forecasting module enables accurate projections of revenue by campaign, channel, and partner, used daily for ROI and budget decisions.
• Improved Scalability – The new data model supports hundreds of thousands of records with zero loss in performance.
• Usability Gains – Analytics and accounting teams now operate in a faster, cleaner, more stable reporting environment.

Financial SaaS platform

Project highlights

Custom SaaS development: GetDevDone built the platform from the ground up, delivering a suite of financial analysis and management tools. The team also developed a custom reporting system.
Rapid MVP and production launch: Three months from kickoff to MVP. By month six, the full version was delivered.
Payment integration: Stripe powers the subscription system, which includes a 14-day free trial.

Technology solution

The project followed a focused end-to-end delivery cycle tailored to the realities of small and medium-size businesses.

Consultation & product analysis

We started with a joint discovery process to define the product's core function: offering non-financial teams visibility into operational spending without the overhead of legacy tools. Working closely with the client, we outlined key user roles, business objectives, and must-have features, which gave us a lean but strategic roadmap.

Infrastructure planning

We ran a detailed evaluation of AWS vs. GCP to keep infrastructure cost-effective and analytics-ready. Google Cloud's performance, native data tools, and pricing flexibility aligned best with the product vision. This choice shaped how we scaled the platform from MVP to production.

Design & development

The design was focused on clean navigation, quick data access, and minimal friction between login and insight. The backend was built from scratch on GCP and tightly integrated with third-party analytics services. We developed a robust custom reporting system that provides centralized visibility on OpEx, analyzes financial activities, and improves operational efficiency.

Quality assurance

QA covered unit and integration testing, as well as security and performance validation. We placed special focus on maintaining data integrity across the reporting system and external services.

Custom AI LLM for an Affiliate Marketing Company

Project highlights

Custom LLM Hosting: Fine-tuned Llama 3.1 8B on AWS SageMaker for internal use by AP clients.
RAG-Based Insight Generation: Integrated external data with Retrieval-Augmented Generation for smarter output.
Workflow Automation: Leveraged AWS Lambda and SQS for auto-triggered training and deployment.
Non-technical UX Focus: Implemented OpenWebUI for a user-friendly interaction layer with mini GPTs.

Our Approach

1. LLM Hosting & Fine-Tuning on AWS

We deployed and fine-tuned Meta's Llama 3.1 8B model using AWS SageMaker to allow AP to host their own large language model. Each client instance has its own tailored model for personalized context windows and interaction clarity.

The fine-tuning process was automated via:

• SQS-triggered Lambda functions to pull datasets from S3 and initiate SageMaker training.
• CloudWatch monitoring to detect job completion and trigger model deployment to AWS Bedrock.

2. RAG Integration & Prompt Engineering

To deliver precise and context-rich outputs, we implemented Retrieval-Augmented Generation. This allowed the model to pull data from external sources and adapt responses accordingly—ideal for contract analysis, financial summaries, and content automation.

3. OpenWebUI for Mini GPTs and Workflow Automation

We installed OpenWebUI, making it easy for non-technical users to engage with the AI.

Key features include:

• Pre-built mini GPTs for specific tasks (e.g., financial insight extraction, legal flagging).
• Pipelines that trigger custom scripts or automate AI interactions within larger workflows.

Tech Stack

Meta Llama 3.1, AWS SageMaker, AWS Bedrock, AWS SQS, Lambda, CloudWatch, OpenWebUI with Pipelines, RAG, custom prompt templates, mini GPTs.

Building a Complex Online Platform for Aus Flying

The owner of Aus Flying, Mike Nash, turned to us for assistance with the development of an online platform where pilots could hire aircraft by location or manufacturer, and plane owners list their aircraft for hire or sale.

The client wanted us to use WordPress as the content management system. Initially, he provided us with the designs of the essential pages so that we could make and launch an MVP as quickly as possible.

While the website's aesthetics were important, too, it was the functionality that defined the success of the entire project. Specifically, Mike requested the following features and capabilities:

• Listing planes for hire or sale.
• Editing or updating details of planes listed for hire or sale.
• Saving incomplete listings so that users can finish them at a later time.
• Uploading images for a plane gallery with a drag-and-drop functionality to arrange images in a specific order, as well as selecting the main image of a plane and adding 360° images to see the plane's panoramic view.
• Browsing aircraft listings with the ability to delete them quickly or change their status to draft.
• Sending messages to aircraft owners.
• Viewing incoming messages in the admin panel (for aircraft owners).
• Login and registration.
• Profile editing.
• Comprehensive filtering, with every taxonomy having its own filter page.
• Listing locations and makes with a link to the corresponding filter pages.
• A map showing aircraft in various regions and airports with pin auto grouping on zooming out.

Creating all that varied and complex functionality was clearly not a matter of days or even months. So, the client picked the features he wanted us to develop in the first place.

AI personalization for DTC fashion brand

A U.S.-based apparel brand ($28M annual revenue, 90 employees) had strong acquisition momentum through TikTok and Meta campaigns, but profitability was under pressure. Repeat purchases stagnated, SMS campaigns felt "spammy," and the Shopify storefront offered the same generic experience to every visitor. Without visibility into churn or margin drivers, leadership feared a cycle of rising ad spend with diminishing returns.

In partnership with their agency, GetDevDone designed a retention-first roadmap focused on personalization, data integration, and AI-readiness.

Strategic challenges

• Flat repeat revenue: returning customer rate stuck at ~28% despite heavy promotions.
• Weak SMS performance: CTR below 2%, high unsubscribe rates, customers complaining of irrelevance.
• Generic on-site journey: Shopify storefront reduced to "bestsellers," ignoring visitor behavior.
• Churn blindness: no early-warning signals, leading to reactive and late retention campaigns.

Business impact delivered

• SMS channel revived: CTR rose from ~2% to ~6%, while unsubscribe rates declined by roughly a quarter. This restored profitability to a channel leadership feared was no longer viable.
• Repeat revenue lifted: the returning customer rate increased from 28% to just over 31% within three months — a modest percentage shift, but one that translates into a material six-figure annual impact at current scale.
• On-site engagement improved: personalized bundles and recommendations increased average time on site by ~20% and boosted average order value by ~8%. The merchandising team can now compare bundle performance against generic "bestsellers."
• Executive visibility gained: leadership now has dashboards showing the split between acquisition-driven and retention-driven revenue, giving finance and marketing a shared view of efficiency and profitability.

Mobile App & Black Friday Experience

Delivered solution:

• React Native app (iOS & Android) integrated with Shopify Plus via GraphQL API.
• Personalized Black Friday flows: wishlists and browsing history powered dynamic homepage offers.
• One-tap checkout: Apple Pay & Google Pay dramatically reduced friction.
• Gamified loyalty rewards: referral system rewarded purchases and drove peer-to-peer promotion.
• Performance-first design: engineered to handle 3x baseline traffic without downtime.

Because gamified loyalty models can attract fraud or abuse, we built guardrails — validation layers, reward thresholds, and fraud checks — to protect fairness without blocking genuine users. Anticipating 3x traffic spikes, we ran infra stress-tests and co-created incident playbooks with the client, giving them operational resilience beyond launch.

Please introduce your company and give a brief description of your role within the organization.
GetDevDone (original name PSD2HTML) is a leading provider of web development and design solutions. The company has been present on the market for almost 18 years and has in-depth expertise in building websites and online stores, creating banner ads and email templates, mobile development, UI/UX design, and many other areas. As a result — we have already nearly 160,000 projects.
GetDevDone delivers various front-end related projects including single-page applications and custom website themes, using cutting-edge JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, Vue, and others. Of course, we are also engaged in back-end development with all popular and modern frameworks.
One of the focuses of our activity is email template development. All our templates fully meet the requirements of major email service providers such as MailChimp, Salesforce Pardot, Hubspot, SendGrid, Marketo, and others. The range of our services extends to building online stores and websites, based on the major content management systems
(WordPress, Drupal, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce), cross-platform mobile development using React Native and security optimization. Additionally, we can rethink and develop website designs, a service frequently requested by our clients.
What is the story behind starting this company?
Our company’s first office was an Internet café in a basement (like “Ukrainian Apple”). The founders of the company not only rented the premises but also the computers. Later, when they managed to save enough money to buy their own computers, they moved over from the basement to their grandmother’s apartment in order to save on the rent. They basically lived from client to client, hardly able to make ends meet.

The launch of PSD2HTML.com (old name GetDevDone), which is how our company got its name, was a game changer. The founders had been searching for an original idea and discovered a niche that, on one hand, promised a lot of demand and, on the other hand, allowed them to set up a bug-free development process.

In addition, it was the first “out-of-the-box” solution for IT service that we know of that provided a flat rate and a fixed timeline. All that the clients had to do was place an order in the evening (EST), submit their PSD designs, and get back the pixel-perfect HTML code the following morning. That is when the first clients started reaching out to us. It gave us a lot of motivation.
What is your company’s business model – is it an in-house team or a third party vendors/outsourcing?
We currently handle 99% of our tasks with our in-house team and, thus, with internal resources. We would only engage an external developer as a consultant when a project requires unique technology or expertise in an area where we lack experience. This approach saves our clients time in implementing solutions and provides additional expertise to our team.

By operating exclusively with an in-house team, we ensure the stability and quality of the developed product. Within our company, we have established standards and best practices to make our code as versatile as possible. Consequently, regardless of which developer handles a task within a specified timeframe, the client receives a consistently high-quality product within the specified deadlines. Freelancers, on the other hand, lack this level of predictability and may be slower to respond.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
GetDevDone’s mission is to handle any web development-related request from small and medium clients at any time. We are always committed to a long-term partnership with our customers and strive to become their unique remote team.

We always strive to keep up with the current market trends and deliver a high-quality result within tight deadlines. Essentially, meeting a very tight deadline, let's say, from today to tomorrow - is realistic. Additionally, we provide white-label services, meaning we aim to assist other companies in boosting their profits. Consequently, we can work with agencies, as well as are open to cooperating directly with small and medium businesses if they find our services appealing.

What sets us apart? Our rapid response, extensive experience, and a vast knowledge base. Furthermore, we are developing artificial intelligence based on our knowledge base, which will expedite the development process. This way, we don't just follow the latest trends but also apply the knowledge we've accumulated into practice.
What industries do you generally cater to? Do you have a significant number of recurring customers? If so, what percentage of your client base consists of recurring customers?
We strive to provide optimal solutions for all of our customers, regardless of their industry or business focus. In general, our client base exceeded 160 thousand.
We work with small and middle-growth businesses, the largest share of our clients are digital, advertising/marketing, and web agencies, who are in search of an outsourced web development service provider. They approach us with well-defined tasks and, simultaneously, a conscientious budget.

One of the most important wishes expressed by our customers is for flexible and reusable code. Flexibility refers to how easily a codebase can accommodate future changes.

Furthermore, there are a lot of other businesses that require front-end or back-end development services. Our portfolio encompasses a wide range of projects, including those within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and IT sectors, among others. And of course, startups, whose goal is to make themselves known with the help of a website and without incurring substantial costs.

Approximately 80% of our clients are returning customers who come back every few months, while the remaining 20% are new clients. Our business model is based on ensuring that it is advantageous for our clients to work with us due to the high quality of our work. Our focus is on having every client return to us.
Please share some of the services that you offer that are in the highest demand among your clients.
Our most requested service is WordPress development. We also frequently receive requests for clean WordPress within the Web Flow builder, as well as pure HTML and CSS. Additionally, we work with a wide range of systems and frameworks that are popular in the market.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
We mainly receive reviews from clients, with ratings ranging from 4.5 to 4.8 out of 5. On average, approximately 90% of our clients express satisfaction.
To ensure greater customer satisfaction, we ask our clients about what they liked and what they would like to see improved in the future. We value and consider all the feedback provided.

We are committed to building long-term relationships with our clients. To achieve this, we approach each client as an account, providing them with a dedicated contact person – an account manager. This individual, whether a project manager or business developer, periodically reconnects with the client, gathers feedback, explores opportunities for further assistance, and handles all communication needs.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
One of our key advantages is a 30-day warranty period where we address and fix all bugs at no extra cost. Importantly, even if our error arises later, our team will fix it at no cost. Additionally, we offer technical support during our clients' business hours.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We accommodate a variety of payment methods. In this regard, we are very flexible and can work with different models, but most clients often prefer fixed costs. This means that we estimate the project, specify a fixed amount, and strive to stay within that budget.

We collaborate with agencies, which, in turn, work with end clients. Consequently, they chose this model as it allows for more efficient budget planning. The agencies construct budgets for clients seeking a full package, that includes branding, marketing strategy, websites, and more. Our role is specifically focused on the IT aspect, such as website development. However, the client needs to be informed about the costs associated with our portion of the work. Therefore, we provide them with the amount to include in the project budget.
Do you accept projects that meet your minimum budget requirement? If so, what is the minimum requirement? If not, what is the lowest budget you have worked with?

We are open to projects with minimal requirements. For us, the minimum requirement is to have a design concept of what the client envisions for the project. We can either develop it ourselves, which is a more comprehensive service, or if the client already has a design, we can proceed without further specifications. In such cases, we establish a fixed budget, set deadlines, and then present the project to the client. The lowest budget we have worked with and continue to accept is $199. This includes a fully functional email template, with no additional client-specific requirements. Clients submit a request without the need for extensive form-filling, and by the end of the day, they receive their project. This is how we accommodate projects with basic budgets.
We also have an order page where you can choose what needs to be developed, and specify your budget, and we will adhere to it without any additional costs. This is another form of fixed cost. The process is straightforward: the client simply uploads their design, indicates that they want an email template, and selects a specific technology they need in the final solution. The calculator on the page instantly checks if the project fits within the basic cost of $199 or if additional customizations are needed at a higher price. After payment, the client receives the results by the end of the day.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2022?
The minimum project is equivalent to email templates. When it comes to more advanced projects, such as WordPress, the minimum budget starts at $1,000 to $1,500. Our maximum budget can go up to tens of thousands of dollars.

Speaking in terms of project types, for instance, WordPress solutions can start from $1,000 and go higher based on the client's requirements. A budget of around $30,000 would typically cover a complex project involving technologies more sophisticated than WordPress.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
In today's rapidly changing world, where technology and economic conditions evolve daily, and new innovations emerge each year, it's challenging to predict our growth over the next 10 years. Most likely, we will remain within specific niches that serve small and medium-sized businesses, continually adapting to current technologies and prevailing demands. As an example, we are already testing AI capabilities to enhance results and stay up-to-date. However, we cannot foresee what will come in the next 10 years, something new may replace AI.

Additionally, we have a strong commitment to engage in social projects. Within our company, we have a dedicated segment for such projects, and we've established a pro bono policy. This policy allows us to take on pro bono projects with certain conditions, including the number of projects, timelines, and their impact on society.
