The project involved the development of an Android and iOS finance application for a client. While the design was handled in-house, we required an external partner to handle the development of the mobile apps. I had an excellent experience with SteelKiwi Development, who turned my game idea into a fully functioning application with great attention to detail and passion.

Initially seeking to enhance the UX and performance of their loyalty app, Columbus Coffee approached Globaldev. However, a decision was made to develop a new loyalty app instead, focusing on improved usability, performance, navigation, and UI branding.

Collaborating with Columbus Coffee's backend team, Globaldev crafted native Android (Kotlin/Koin) and iOS (Swift) apps. 

The Columbus Coffee Rewards app enables customers to earn and redeem points for free beverages, eliminating the need for physical loyalty cards. Additionally, it facilitates finding nearby cafés, accessing special offers, and viewing order histories.

One of the standout projects we’ve worked on was with ECIT Norge, a Nordic company that provides financial and IT services across Scandinavia. ECIT had just acquired a business expense tracking app called Travis, but the app had a lot of functionality issues. They knew the value of this kind of app for midsize and large businesses, but it needed a complete overhaul to reach its potential.
ECIT asked us to rebuild the Travis app from the ground up using Flutter. At the same time, they were facing another issue – one of their payroll systems, Intect, was losing customers to competitors that offered a combined expense and payroll management solution. ECIT saw an opportunity to create a more integrated approach, and they needed our help to make it happen.
We completely redesigned the Travis app with a modular, white-label solution. This allowed ECIT to customize the app for different markets and clients, whether they were using ECIT’s payroll systems (Intect and NettLønn) or even third-party software. Employees could now easily manage everything from uploading receipts to creating and submitting expense reports, while admins could track and manage expenses across the company.
With the revamped Travis app, ECIT was able to offer an all-in-one expense and payroll management solution, which helped them retain clients and expand their offerings. The new app played a crucial role in helping them meet their market demands and grow their business.
This project really showed how we can work with clients to create tailored solutions that solve immediate problems while also setting them up for future success.
What industries do you primarily cater to, and do you have a significant percentage of repeat clients? If so, what is the ratio of repeat clients?
Our company caters to a diverse range of industries, with our strongest presence in three key sectors: financial and fintech, pharmaceutical and healthcare, and energy and utilities.
While we serve clients across nearly 10 different industries, these three sectors currently represent the majority of our client base.
Regarding repeat clients, we pride ourselves on building long-term relationships with our customers. On average, our clients engage with us for over three years, which demonstrates a high level of client retention and satisfaction. This long-term cooperation makes it challenging to provide a traditional "repeat client" ratio.
