We do not have a working app and Grey Chain ignored all of our feedback and concerns.
Working with Grey Chain was the worst experience I’ve had with any team in 12 years of business. They overpromised and underdelivered, failing to meet even basic contractual expectations.
1. Lack of Communication – They ignored their promised two-week sprints and avoided key discussions.
2. Ignored Design Approvals – What they built didn’t match signed-off designs, forcing me to repeatedly correct their mistakes.
3. Terrible Execution – They built a nonsensical CMS without consulting me. Core functionalities were broken, poorly implemented, or missing.
4. Unprofessionalism – They revoked my access to the code repository for weeks and dismissed all concerns despite me being the owner of the code according to our contract.
5. Unusable Product – After paying $26,750 of a $35,000 contract, the app was riddled with issues and is being rebuilt from scratch.
Grey Chain refused to take any accountability and are reckless, unprofessional, and lack integrity. Avoid them.
