An employee-owned company founded over two hundred years ago, EC Group aim to connect clients with their customer base, providing reliable, insightful, and timely distribution. Their clients represent a diverse range of sectors, industries, and sizes – from supporting specific charities like BookTrust to collaborating with internationally recognised brands like Rolex.The company specialises in the storage, packaging, and fulfilment of clients’ goods. Their sprawling 4-acre warehouse in Essex is a bustling hub, supporting a multitude of e-commerce businesses, all striving to deliver products swiftly, efficiently, and with meticulous care. With a dedicated team of expertly trained staff, EC Group rises to the challenge, ensuring that each item is handled with precision and delivered to the end user in perfect condition.

Task:

EC Group partnered with Growthlabs to revamp their online presence with a sleek, user-friendly website. This project upheld EC Group's status as a leader in third-party logistics, enhancing user experience and showcasing their capabilities.Our partnership extended beyond web development. Together, we implemented a dynamic marketing strategy that includes PPC campaigns, targeted email marketing, and marketing automation. This strategy is designed to ensure that EC Group remains at the cutting edge, connecting clients to customers with greater efficiency and flair, and driving the company's growth in the digital space.

A New Look:

EC Group’s website had become outdated—slow, and ineffective at both attracting and retaining traffic.Recognising the need for a transformation, we embarked on an extensive overhaul of the site. We identified key pain points and collaborated closely with the client to incorporate new features that would add significant value.The result was a new website that boasts significantly improved visuals, a streamlined user experience, and detailed information about EC Group’s wide range of services.

Large-scale Video Production:

To place emphasis on their many services, vast, multi-purpose warehouse, and large, trained workforce, we worked on providing EC Group with a ‘behind the scenes’ video for use on their website and social media.

Placed front and centre as the hero image of their new website, this video provides an efficient overview, outlining the day-to-day inner workings throughout EC Group’s Essex-based headquarters. We partnered alongside an outside party who specialise in the design and capturing of these large-scale videos. We worked in tandem with one another to curate the finalised video – which can be seen on the left!

In addition to their overview video, we’ve worked alongside EC Group to produce a video detailing their work with a leading client, alongside other additional marketing videos to aid their brand.

Overview:

HKC are market leaders for security equipment in Ireland and are currently making their mark in the UK. They offer a variety of wired and wireless security systems and devices for both residential and commercial properties. HKC is one of the only companies in the security industry to provide an app for both their end-users and installers, allowing for remote servicing/maintenance access and adding an additional layer of customer service.

Having achieved significant success in Ireland, the natural progression for HKC was to expand into the UK security market. However, they encountered the challenge of low brand awareness and a lack of UK-specific marketing materials to engage with installers effectively.

Task:

HKC partnered with Growthlabs to increase their market share in the UK, implementing a strategic marketing approach for paid search, marketing automation, email marketing, print media, and diverse digital media channels. Once this initial campaign was completed, we led with HKC’s ongoing social media management and email marketing activities.
