THE CHALLENGE

Every brand and business had to pivot in some way during this crisis. Yet which road to take was the question, especially because we didn’t know what we didn’t know. A lot of brands in a variety of industries decided to pump the brakes on ad spend because physical retail locations were closing their doors left and right. What we did know was that if PEARL iZUMi reduced ad spend at this moment in time, their business would suffer.

THE SOLVE

Client Experience
Our Client Experience team quickly strategized around the current climate and identified several opportunities to jump on. Specifically, the realization that online shopping would surge, that most advertisers were pulling out of the advertising space causing media costs to plunge and that people were adopting new hobbies while sheltering at home, especially in the fitness space. Together with the PEARL iZUMi team, we determined that the opportunity cost of sitting on the sidelines was much too high and aligned to increase media budgets beginning in April of 2020

As physical retail stores closed overnight in 2020, the industry shift from B2B partnerships to direct consumer relationships accelerated at the speed of light.

To keep up with the demands of eco-conscious, values-driven consumers shopping online, Wild Planet needed to evolve their story at pace to reflect their purpose and modernize the digital experience to drive eCommerce growth.

Wild Planet partnered with IMM to introduce eCommerce to wildplanetfoods.com, launching the brand's D2C channel and building the framework for a truly sustainable, omnichannel future.

Outcomes
We turned connection to commerce for Wild Planet Foods with a digital experience imbued with new purpose as a beacon for the brand ecosystem.

The streamlined eComm experience activated current and new customers alike by turning the brand’s cause into a rallying cry, captured by its mantra: “Creating a force for good.”

THE ASK

NetApp, mostly known for data box storage, began putting resources behind their cloud storage solutions. Enter a newly formed NetApp team tasked with aggressive growth and revenue goals as it pertained to Cloud Volumes Service (CVS) for Google Cloud, a flagship cloud storage offering. In order to do so, NetApp invited us to modernize their digital customer journey including the creation of awareness building and trial-driving content.

THE CHALLENGE

NetApp was in the midst of launching a brand new identity complete with an evolved look, feel and tone of voice. Both NetApp’s Google Cloud team and IMM were learning the in’s and out’s of the new brand at the same time. For a global company with thousands of pieces of content in market, making the transition from NetApp’s old brand to the new one was no small feat and required a strong partnership from the outset.

THE SOLVE

Through our immersive approach, we built an always-on content plan designed to improve landing page flows while creating digital media campaign assets to deliver prospects to each designated page. Through UX, design and copy updates to their key trial offer page, we boosted form fills serving up warm leads for their sales team. We also created display, social, and video creative designed to generate awareness, drive consideration and net coveted trial signups
