What is the story behind starting this company?
I’ve been working in the IT sphere since 2010 as a software engineer. At the beginning of my career, I was a full-stack .Net developer and step by step I gained more responsibilities and expertise to become a CTO.
After reaching such career heights I didn’t want to stop my personal growth and started to think about how to move forward. In 2016 together with my good friend Maksim Maksimchuk we decided to establish our own business and try ourselves as owners of the IT company. After 1 year of preparations, Intobi was founded.
In 2017 I stopped working as CTO in the company and dedicated all my time and afford to Intobi as a CEO. It is important to say that I will be always grateful for all the knowledge, skills, and experience which I gained while working on previous work. Until now I stay in touch with many of my old colleagues and employees.
Unfortunately, not everything went smoothly at the beginning. It became tough to maintain a good friendship with Max and develop the company, so we both decided to split the business and go on separate ways. Even since 2018 when I started managing Intobi alone, Max continues to be my good friend and we see each other from time to time.
The business is growing quite well as we build strong and long-term relations with clients all over the world. Nowadays we have over 50 skilled, experienced and reliable developers and designers ready to help our clients anytime and bring their ideas to life.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We are an independent software company with a central office based in Kyiv (Ukraine). Our developers develop web and mobile applications for many projects and have the ability to work from the office and remote. All the Intobi team members are pure in house team.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
We respect our competitors but do not compare ourselves with anyone because we have a clear vision and goal regarding the type of company we want to build. The whole team works hard and every day we become better and better. We don’t have an end goal though as perfection has no limits 😊
What industries do you generally cater to? Are your customers repetitive? If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
We are covering a pretty big list of domains starting from Sport and Medical business and finishing with Insurance and banking platforms. Our aim is to help the business of our clients to work and grow, so when they are happy with the results, we are even more happy. Of course, after splendid long-term cooperation, some of our clients come again to us with new ideas and projects. We are always ready to dive into new opportunities and challenges.

What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Almost all of our clients are very satisfied and stay with Us for years.
According to our processes with are following face-to-face calls with executives each and every month to figure out where we are, trying to find places to improve to keep our work productive and effective. We value the feedback as it helps us to become even better.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
It depends. From project to project we have different teams and a bit different processes. In any case – quality is a must and little details matter! The development team together with the QA team provides Auto and Manual testing for the best result.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
We are working on a full-time/long-term allocation so each and every month we are sending the static invoice which we’ve agreed with the client and send an hourly-based invoice. All our clients are always updated about the scale of work which was done and for what they are paying us.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement? If yes, what is the minimum requirement? If no, on what minimum budget you have worked for?
There are different projects with different sizes and budgets. On average our projects last 1-2 years with an annual budget close to 50 – 200 thousand USD.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
20 000 USD – 300 000 USD.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
In 10 years, we still plan to be a Software development company working like an outsourced / out staff company with solid processes which allow us to cover IT projects for Large Enterprise businesses.
