I am deeply saddened by this review. We went further and beyond for this client and worked very hard to meet his vision. Although his expectations were generally not realistic for the timeline or budget, we would work overtime and past our commitment to do our best to meet it. We did it not only because we liked the product/concept and wanted to see it succeed, but also because the client appreciated our work and supported us. In fact, he has on another website previously given us a 4.5/5-star review stating: The project is still in development, though Inventive Byte has made significant progress so far. They're well-coordinated and have a firm understanding of the app's vision. The client then wrote this review at the peak of Covid-19. For many businesses out there including ours, Covid-19 has been disastrous. Many businesses have shut down. Our office got infected by the virus and we lost teammates to it. We shared what was going on with the client and that we would need to pause the project temporarily till we had a better handle on the situation. The client did not want to slow down so he found a different company to work with. We provided the code and thought it was over. Next thing we know, we are being bombarded by messages from the client regarding training the new company on the code. We are responding to everything within 24 hours and are happy to help out. However, we make clear we are going through dire circumstances and will need to schedule it a bit further up like a week ahead. The client then immediately writes this negative review on all review platforms and uses it to blackmail us saying if we help immediately, he will take these reviews down. We scheduled the free training for the next day. A year later the reviews have never been taken down. The client got what he wanted and then we never heard from him again. I am appalled by the client's lack of empathy for what Covid-19 has done to people's lives and the way that he handled the situation to get what he wanted. I hope this review is not given any thought when considering us for service. We take it as a learning lesson on being much pickier when selecting clients and hope to work with clients with more admirable integrity.

This is a fake review and this individual is trying to harm our reputation. He did not complete the payment for the previous work done. He wanted us to continue working for him without completing the payment. He agreed that according to the terms he owes money, but that he actually now wants to change his project scope and idea. I explained to him that for any future work he needs to complete the payment. Now he is leaving a negative and fake review and stating that we participate in fraudulent activities. We have a history of integrity and have taken note of his defamatory comments to take legal action. If anyone is further interested, I can share our emails on how he did not complete the payment and for which reason he has left this defamatory review. Please ignore this review when making a decision. Thank you.
