Our project with Leo9 Studio began with the objective of developing a new, intuitive, mobile-first interface that would facilitate smooth travel bookings. We aimed to simplify the booking process for flights, including adding seats and other add-ons. For hotel bookings, our goal was to present comprehensive information to help customers make informed decisions. For holiday packages, we wanted to enable customers to select options that best fit their needs. After reaching out to multiple UI/UX agencies worldwide and conducting numerous calls with founders, leads, and senior personnel, we found Jugal and his team at Leo9 Studio to be the most efficient and capable for our project. Jugal Shah, the CEO, and his team's hands-on approach, expertise, and approachable nature were crucial factors in our decision. The project involved a significant mobile-first design challenge, starting with a redesigned UX and moving to a modern, intuitive UI. We tackled the project iteratively, making incremental UI improvements to create a seamless travel booking experience. Each screen was meticulously designed to ensure ease of use and customer satisfaction. We redesigned the flight booking interface, creating a simple, modern booking flow and experimented with adding a home screen to provide personalized recommendations—a unique proposition in the travel industry. The team dedicated to our project included Pratik and Virendra, two senior UI/UX designers, along with other team members who contributed at various stages. Jugal was personally involved throughout the 11-month project, ensuring that the team's efforts aligned with our goals. The outcome was a new, stable application built on a React Native framework that greatly enhanced the customer experience for our app users. Additionally, our website saw a marked improvement in user-friendliness, with users expressing high satisfaction with the new design. Communication with Leo9 Studio was smooth and effective. While their team was proficient with Slack, they readily adapted to our preferred project management and communication tool, Basecamp. Initially, we had a basic 2-3 page website, but Leo9 proposed and built a comprehensive 10-page site from scratch. This new site included a self-assessment tool for clients, a blog, and a “Contact Us” and booking feature, providing a seamless user experience. Jugal, the Co-Founder & CEO, was our initial point of contact and the project's architect. We worked closely with a UX/UI designer and a brand designer on the website mechanics and overall design. Additionally, someone from their accounts department managed invoicing, ensuring smooth financial transactions. Our engagement with Leo9 began after failing to find a suitable in-house candidate and being impressed by their work on other websites. They understood our requirements thoroughly and presented an impressive pitch. The website they built had a good flow, starting with general questions and leading to detailed information, which resulted in daily client assessments and regular blog content creation. Within three months, we had recovered our investment and continued to see results, including a nearly 30% increase in business. Leo9’s team, including a project manager, UX designer, UI builder, front-end and back-end developers, CEO, graphic artist, and brand manager, became an extension of our lean startup team. Despite a 12+ hour time difference, they maintained responsiveness and clear communication, holding weekly sprint meetings and daily open calls. They delivered a fully functional MVP with brand consistency, significantly enhancing the UI/UX of our product. Their thoughtful engagement and excellent ideas added tremendous value. What they delivered often surpassed expectations, showcasing a level of quality typically associated with larger agencies. We are thrilled with the MVP and are now working on new scopes to further iterate based on client feedback.

I engaged Leo9 Studio initially for branding and subsequently for designing and developing my platform. The community I built attracts a variety of visitors, from different states, ages, and educational backgrounds, requiring an intuitive web app for easy navigation and reservation-making. Additionally, the platform needed to be straightforward enough for our strategic partners, who might not be technologically savvy, to manage their free online stores easily. The team, comprising branding artists, UI and UX designers, and both frontend and backend developers, delivered everything we needed in a sweet spot. Their work has already attracted a fair number of visitors, led to the commencement of international tours, and resulted in good session numbers, low bounce rates, and enjoyable experiences for our users. I am particularly proud of the beautiful pictures on the platform, which I personally clicked. I visited their office regularly to oversee the progress and was consistently impressed by their efficient workflow, which allowed them to complete the project sooner than I had anticipated. The experience was pleasant and rewarding.

We aimed to refine our product by focusing on what works best and how to better engage our users. Although we considered changing our brand name, we ultimately kept it, focusing instead on modernizing the brand’s colors and tones to resonate with Gen Z. The journey began on Dribble.com, where we found several applications, and a conversation with Jugal convinced me that Leo9 Studio was the right team for the job. Despite my high expectations and demanding nature, Leo9 Studio built trust through their culture and execution. Their work impressed our investors, which, in turn, satisfied me. Leo9 Studio's professionalism and commitment to delivering on time were exemplary. They adapted well to my "crazy ideas" and ensured that any potential delays were communicated promptly. We maintained daily communication through emails and WhatsApp, which facilitated seamless project management. The lead person was deeply involved in every aspect, ensuring clarity and efficiency.

My journey with Leo9 Studio began in October 2021 when I sought their expertise to define and build my brand. The project involved multiple stages, starting with understanding my business, competition, goals, mission, and vision. They helped me define my brand values, which their designer then integrated into our new color scheme, logo, and general aesthetic. In the second phase, we developed two types of collateral: a pitch deck for fundraising and social media templates. Throughout this process, I primarily engaged with Jugal (Founder), Himanshu (Brand Experience Manager), and a designer. The engagement has been ongoing, and we are currently wrapping up a few loose ends. I am also considering working with them on my website. The quality of their work was satisfactory. The new logo, color scheme, and brand philosophy were well-executed, though somewhat generic. The pitch deck creation process was efficient but not without issues—alignment problems, difficult-to-edit text, and unpolished bullet points required additional effort on my part, which I didn't expect from a professional design firm. Despite these setbacks, Leo9 Studio’s dedication stood out. Their willingness to work outside traditional hours, especially when I faced technical issues, was commendable. They were respectful, easy to work with, and always available. However, their responsiveness and project timelines were areas of concern. The final product took almost double the estimated time, and I had to be more prescriptive about deadlines than anticipated.

As a gaming company, we realized that basic UI/UX issues were negatively impacting our customer experience, leading to revenue loss. Given the integral role of UI/UX in our product success matrix, we assigned Leo9 Studio the task of revamping our product interfaces to boost user engagement. We searched for the best UI/UX company based in India and found Leo9 Studio at the top of the charts, supported by great references from a major political rating application company in India. The project, involving a financial market gaming company, required capturing elements of an adrenaline rush effectively. We broke the project into five parts: User Onboarding, User Playing a Contest, User Withdrawing and Making Payments, User Leaderboard Comparison. Two key resources from Leo9 were assigned as Single Points of Contact (SPOC) for UI and UX respectively. Our Product Manager coordinated with them throughout the project. The revamped design received an impressive NPS score of nine from our consumer feedback. The use of color schemes and a neuroscience-driven theme were particularly noteworthy and contributed significantly to the project's success.

As a startup, finding a clear path to our goals can be overwhelming. Hiring Leo9 Studio made the entire process easier and more manageable, while staying within our budget. Their team brought fresh and young ideas that made it easier for me to connect my vision and streamline the entire branding process. Our previous website, created by another development firm, failed to convey our business effectively and was generally a mess. The website made it extremely easy to showcase our extensive portfolio, which in turn gave our customers the confidence to make the right decisions. Communication with the team was seamless. Although there were few instances where communication was necessary due to their proactive approach, they were always available to address our inquiries and issues promptly.
