MS WEBDESIGN started from the point of view that we couldn’t just build anything because we’d be stuck in an endless development phase. Rather, they helped us define our target market and their needs by creating 2–3 user personas. Every decision along the way came to down deciding if a feature or choice would help these distinct user personas enjoy the app more.

After detailing our future users and their needs, MS WEBDESIGN helped set the requirements for an MVP. This was a key step, as it will help us test our value proposition when we release the app. The iOS version will be live shortly, and we’ll work on an Android release after that.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

The fact that we’re still working together is the best evidence for the quality. We love them. The clarity of their proposition stands out. MS WEBDESIGN’s team has this fantastic ability to force us to think about what we can do today and this month to get the MVP done as quickly as possible.

What was it about the company that you didn't like which they should do better?

There was a misunderstanding regarding invoicing and how they communicated about that, but everything was quickly rectified after the first or second invoice.

What is it about the company that you appreciate the most?

The team has been able to deliver an iOS / Android app in accordance to the business requirements. What I found most impressive about this company is their ability to seamlessly integrate team members as if they were our own in-house staff. These team members essentially function as our own startup employees. The only distinction is that they all work remotely.

MS WEBDESIGN developed a financial marketplace. They began by walking us through a discovery phase where we told them about what we wanted our product to do. They then helped us visualize our intended users and identified their motivations for using the marketplace. Once we figured that out, they helped us design our platform’s technology architecture and design what the full stack would be from a technical point of view — which involved the front- and backend development, APIs, and more.

In addition to the project manager, we had at least two other specialists, one of whom was primarily responsible for development and the other for design and styling. I don't feel like I need to keep track of or know too much about each person's function because the team gets along well together. I view MS WEBDESIGN as a cohesive unit, with the project manager simplifying matters.

They know how to create something unique and beautiful that also functions very well.

They provided both the Web design and the database design. They worked with a local Access database and turned it into something that powered the CMS of our website while still allowing us to work locally in Access. They also designed the CMS portion of the site.
