Solution

NEKLO transformed the underperforming SMS marketing app into a secure, all-in-one texting and calling platform. Key interventions included:

• Pusher to Soketi Migration: Replaced PusherWebSockets with Soketi to eliminate push limitations and reduce subscription costs.

• Database Optimization: Migrated from MySQL to PostgreSQL, enhancing database performance.

• AI Integration: Developed an AI-powered text assistant to enable users to craft personalized responses.

• Feature Enhancements: Introduced new messaging and calling features, along with contact management tools such as contact uploads, tags, and shared inboxes.

These improvements addressed the platform’s scalability issues and enhanced its functionality.
